I am mostly interested in these small improvements. The expanded view is nice though.

Most of my issues with Bitwig at this point are small improvements to enhance the overall workflow.

Mine also. Workflow is king.

Update does like nice though.

:o WOW :o

Thank you so much for meter changes and adding Elastique! This is really exciting for me!

I just bought it and I'm already getting goodies soon. :hyper:

In all serious, nice additions. A few bug fixes here, there, this little scene problem over here, and I'll be satisfied, for now.

Who knows, maybe they zapped a few in the minor improvements.

Holly Cow- what a great update, looks to me like Bitwigs 0.1 update is delivering more than the very expensive Live 10 update (which I am declining)....

Love that full screen modulation display for when I am just using Bitwig to sequence CV to my Euro....so cool!

Cant wait for the Beta to start-Great time to be a Wig

Thanks Guys, I'm so excited about this update and you have stuck true to your word ( sorry for my 1 post about being worried as an early adapter of the 2.0 update [ 28th feb 2017 ] by the way :) )
The new synth sounds amazing and all the other goodies are much appreciated. wow I sound like a fanboy, well maybe after this good news I am :P

This is excellent! Congratulations to the Bitwig team are in order!

For those who continue to complain about the misnamed "subscription" pricing model, I think it is worthwhile to step back and consider what has been done, and what you purchased. In one year, there have been a major release (2.0) and three point releases with significant feature enhancements. From a software development standpoint, that is quite an accomplishment, and I can't think of another product that does that. I'd say you got your money's worth.

I would call it "leap of faith" model :)

Is there any DAW other than Reaper whose cost/pricing model isn't the subject of endless complaints and debates? Holy cow!

Renoise might be a candidate, I think it might be the lowest price DAW out there for a complete 1 point update ( example as in my experience, you buy 2.8, you get free updates until 3.8 ). Tho the counter argument might be that Development has kind of hit a plateau where it seems bug fixes are all the developers can/will work on as they recently announced that they have started a new project and iirc they believe Renoise is quite complete .... sigh ... no piano roll , but do not mention this on the forums, especially to the die hard tracker fans :)

Really excited about the Elastique stretching here! It will open up a lot of possibilities and just make working with audio so much more comfortable.

If people want to do a bit of "community service", please report every bug you see in the beta so the final release could be as bug free as possible :)

For those people that are unhappy with the lack of percussive envelopes in Bitwig at the moment (I am one of those people!), check out the "Phase-4 Demo Synth Extreme" linked on the announcement page. It develops into some super punchy & clicky transient goodness! Not sure whether that's just the nature of Phase-4 or whether they've been tinkering with their envelopes, but at least we have an option for synth percussion/plucks etc. now. I'm so excited to try to the beta!

This is a massive update, easily enough in this update to be called a 3.0 release. It's really nice to see Bitwig delivering on their promises of big feature updates now, and that all users who upgraded last year on day one will be getting this update regardless of when it will be released. I saw many were worried earlier last year when there was a bit of lull between releases, but that is clear now it is because they were working on some huge features.

I'm also really looking forward to seeing what other small improvements have been implemented when the beta is released. Can't wait to check it out at NAMM.

Some really awesome stuff here, this voice stacking / modulator looks to be very interesting. I am wondering if it is along the same lines as Dune 2 / Harmor unison mapping.

That is what it looks like... You can use the Stacking modulator to set a parameter value independently per unison voice... and I assume it works for all Bitwig instruments! (maybe someday for Bitwig FX and VST's too)
