Ahh, what I mean was how the unison feels. The free-run unison on them is kinda awkward (IMO Massive done a better job than this two). What I really like from this two synth is their filter, really love it!Distorted Horizon wrote:JP8080 single cycle and then adjust supersaw to taste.. If KV331 can tweak the unison to be better, IMO this two synth might become the best synth at it price or at least it become 2 inseparable synth for what every producers need

Yeah it's good but it's not quite... There are better. Hive has IMO a very pleasing unison.hamayame wrote:Ahh, what I mean was how the unison feels. The free-run unison on them is kinda awkward

More about Synthmaster.. You can get it dirt cheap second hand so it's easily worth to get as third option

Wow, very active thread here... Never thougth, that i have started such a big discussion
But thanks all for the good recomendations.
I have started to play a little bit around now with silenth1. It is really a good Synth.
I have also to say, that i have just started 2 or 3 Weeks ago producing trance music. So, this is a very new area for me, producing music without prepared loops (This i have done 25 Years ago in the past.
)
Now, i will make real music
.... My Music.... Just finished my first own track. I am satisfied with this track. Not perfect, but for the first ok. I only use Sytrus there and Zampler, and plugins from FL Studio. Now i will pimp my sound, so i have just bought Silenth1 2 days ago (rent-to-buy option). Maybe, it is enough for the first. So, i will try to produce my next song only with Silenth1 except drums and so on.
I am not sure, to buy a second vst at this moment. I have play around with Serum the last days and with ANA2. I like both of them.
With Serum you have the advantage, not to pay the whole price at once (rent-to-buy option). There is not such Option with ANA2
.
And because at the moment, it is only a hobby for me producing music, it is much money
. Maybe it will be more than a hobby in future, who knows
Yes, but thanks for all the good recommendations. I will surely try the demos of the on or other VST you've mentioned....
So, thanks a lot and regards

Of course it's not enough (seriously it is enough). But oops... I noticed that there's a Synthmaster and Synthmaster One to be found from the marketplace.. And pretty nice price too (read this with Gollum voice in your head).

Intro (first 1 minute) is starting to be in shape.. So much possibilities that it's a bit difficult to choose, which direction I'll take it. But I think I have something nice cookingwagtunes wrote:https://soundcloud.com/steven-wagenheim ... eim/sets/m

Yes, they're all from VSTs. And I'd be willing to be my entire life savings that nobody could guess which VSTS I used for which track. But that's another discussion for another day.Distorted Horizon wrote:Intro (first 1 minute) is starting to be in shape.. I am guessing they are in your signature or other lists on KVR. Do I win the life savings?wagtunes wrote:Yes, they're all from VSTs. I mean guess EXACTLY which synth is playing which track. Can't do it. And no, even if you looked at my sig, you'd be wrong as I used synths that I've never even made libraries for.Examigan wrote:I am guessing they are in your signature or other lists on KVR. So no, you don't win my life savings unless you guess each track exactly.

Kinda shattering my self confidence to notice that someones first track is better than anything I've ever done
Thanks for your feedback.... I just wanted to keep things simple. But you are right, reversed crashes could pimp the song a little bit. Perhaps I will make another Version of the Song?
I also posted the link into the forum you have mentioned. Thanks for the hint

Actually what I had in mind is, that it'd bring some predictability to song. Now parts switch to another quite suddenly etc.. For example at 0:57. And since it doesn't have a crash or any sound to start the new part, listeners brains don't "reset".
