I'm having the well-known "Installation Isue: No GUI ressources..." and "file couldn't be created to C:\Program Files\u-he\Presets\Zebra2\MIDI Programs\Midi.Bank.Cache.txt - this is most likely a problem with file permissions.Check out the FAQ section on u-he.com/cms/faqs to solve file permisson issues."

It was working fine before, I had all my U-he stuff perfectly working with shortcuts to "Diva.data" etc. as described in the FAQ.

Hadn't planned to spend my Saturday morning fixing stupid computer problems...
Am I the only one?

I guess I'll try extracing just the dlls/bitmaps and the if that works..

Is the Atlantis skin for Zebra coming back or it's scrap?

Installing to the program files location is something we strongly advise against, because of Windows system restrictions.
Please contact support to get it sorted out.

What has your nightmare been? Some details about your problem, your operating system, etc., might actually help get your issue resolved. From what I've seen, almost all issues seem to be either related to install paths, having two different versions installed, or folder permissions, all of which are easily resolved.

Ok, so it's ok to just download Diva 1.4.3 installer and install it without removing the old Diva installation as long as you install the same plugins (vst2, vst3...), right?

Yes, you can install right on top of the prior versions as long as you make the same selctions and install into the same folders. If you want to change a folder location or remove a previously installed plugin format, then you'd want to uninstall first.

New features and improvements:
...
Init preset can be loaded from Data Display
...
Thank you for this! It's such a simple thing, but it saves me time and annoyance. I really appreciate it.

The rest of the improvements are great too. I like the DotEight Zebra skin a lot. It looks much better with a scaled UI.

Solid update.

Funny thing, as a matter of fact I didn't install anything into c:\"program files", previous installations are located in my second partion ...\d:\VST\U-he\Zebra..

I also have those symbolic links, all U-he content (bitmaps etc.) stays inside its respective VST-subfolders.

As a matter of fact I absolutey hate it when installers put stuff into my system partition without my permission (like those stupid Native Instruments installers do all the time).

May it as it be, all U-he stuff worked flawless before and I installed over the old installations as recommended.

This is a great update, makes Zebra a fresh workflow experience. But why are the knobs not rotating with 60 Hertz? Don't understand, isn't that just a setting in VSTGUI?
