We're going to put out official press today, but I want to let everyone here know that SpecOps and Zip are officially updated with NKS support. You'll need to download the Plugin Alliance Installation Manager 1.2 to install it. You can grab the installers at the bottom of the pages here:

Our next effect is almost finished. It's been quite a ride, as we've more than doubled our codebase in the process. It's a massive achievement for us, and I think everyone will be pleased. Our new graphic designer has done a fantastic job. I'll post more information once the interface is farther along.

No new info on the instrument yet, other than that it will inherit the big pile of new modulators that we've written. Some of the new modulators:
-Probability Gate and Trigger generator
-Chaos generator (Logistic Map with S+H)
-Gate and Trigger sequencer
-Comparator
-XY Pad
-Modulation Scope
-AD Envelope
-ADSR Envelope

There's one really awesome modulator that we added this week, but I'll leave that as a surprise :)

well that should be interesting :)

What pleases me most is that Unfiltered Audio nailed totally ... the sound! It was obvious to me even with the first product I encountered years ago, the old Sandman delay.

Thanks for that.

For the 'unofficial' NI User Forum created Unfiltered plugin NKS templates we also now have NKS presets available for Dent 2, Fault and Sandman Pro available here (including thumbnails for the browser):

Should tide people over till they are officially NKSified.

BYOME should be out in July. I will be presenting it at MixCon 2018 in NYC: https://www.facebook.com/events/439443056516713/.

Josh and I have been working like crazy getting this ready. While testing out a DSP fix today, Josh created this video of five BYOME cells working together on a drum loop. Sorry for the low visual resolution:

Cellular automata?

Nope, although that would be a great modulator to add at a later point...

One user on Muff's correctly guessed that BYOME stands for "Build Your Own Multi Effect". A BYOME "cell" is an individual effect. There are 40 cells to choose from.

Hmmmm sounds intriguing! Pretty interested to see the full list of effects..do they overlap with the spectral fx in spec ops much / at all?.

Time domain only. No spectral effects. SpecOps is, in a way, the frequency domain version of BYOME. BYOME's effects are a lot more complicated than the one-knob effects on SpecOps, though.

Awesome, sounds like another insta buy for me.
Also really looking forward to getting the comparator and the gate / trigger stuff in spec ops, sandman etc, sounds super useful! Keep up the amazing work please. :tu:
