Well, Viper would offer itself, as it's a dedicated Virus emu. You could also try Spire, even though it sounds more bright than what i hear in the sound demo. Sylenth1 might also do this quite well. In general, you probably can get reasonable close, when you do some stuff like apply EQ, and stuff.

.....and then? what virtual synth do you recomend :help:
Adam Szabo Viper

And this patch by cleverr1

which seems to be an exact replica of the sound you are after
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

I haven’t spent loads of time with Viper, but because its architecture is very close to the actual Virus it makes transposing patches intuitive. To my ears the results I’ve heard so far have captured the essence of the Virus sounds they’re attempting to copy.

In my case I have a Ti2 that’s part of my live rig. However, I’ve recently been wowed by Gig Performer to the extent where all I really need is a laptop and a controller, and Viper can do everything I personally needed of the Ti in that scenario.

So it depends what you want - Viper is the only native VSTi with the look, feel and sound of a Virus, but as other posts have mentioned, a Big Fish type patch should be possible on other synths with a different sonic palette if presets are more your thing.

Must admit, at one point I thought your patch may have been the one in:

thank you very much to all, finally I will opt for the wiper. A little history if you let me, I leave the music about 2005, when groove unlimited I leave
to support my CDs for the crisis of minority music. Then I started again to study all the degrees I left abandoned and now when I want to make noise again I find myself a very changed scene. Music can be made completely whit a computer and now I'm looking for programs that emulate the syntetizers that I most valued; ACCESS VIRUS, ROLAND JD 990, KORG DSS-1, and others.
Later I will open other threads to emulate these synthesizers

thank you very much again for your advice.

iirc the click was a result of the sync being set with Osc 2 tuned down 44 semitones along with the osc punch setting.
