I got so much flak from some guy for suggesting on a ToneBoosters thread that EQ 4 was a blatant rip-off of Pro-Q 2 UI-ise. The sad thing is I thought TB EQ 3 was almost perfect the way it was, just needed to be larger, IMO. Loved the colors, the functionality, all of it. But Jaroen had to chase the Pro-Q 2 trend. The way how the floating box is implemented in EQ 4 is really dumb, IMO. I feel like it just gets in the way. I emailed him a long list of suggestions for UI improvements but since I'm just a random nobody on the internet I don't expect anyone to care.Harry_HH wrote:Many developers have imitated the Pro-Q look and feature, since it was published.Reefius wrote:Wow, this CraveEQ almost looks exactly like Fabfilter ProQ2.
