Hey Uncle E, does this come with the new smart:EQ2 or the old smart:EQ+? On the Sonible site it says the bundle includes the EQ2 but I could not find any info about that on your site. If it does I might actually go for that instead of the Frei:raum -> EQ2 cross-grade.

frei:raum is actually one plugin with the EQs integrated (not a bundle with different plugins). There has not been an update to frei:raum since some time. But today I got a crossgrade offer by email for an upgrade to smart EQ 2 for 9.90€ until end of October.
smart EQ 2 seems to be like smart EQ live, but without the zero latency mode.
frei:raum consists of smart EQ. There has also been a smart:EQ+ which had features not in frei:raum.

So would Smart EQ 2 indeed be covered by Smart EQ Live?

On the Sonible site it says that the EQ2 is included in the plugin bundle, so it is an upgrade to the EQ+.

Ah, I see, the EQ bundle is not frei:raum! That was the confusing part because you also mentioned frei:raum

If possible then, try to ask if you still can get frei:raum upgrade to smart EQ 2. So it's even cheaper. (for $50 + 9.90€)

So, as many people know Magix has had a long standing offer on Samplitude Pro X3 Suite Upgrade. They have offered it for as little as $149.99 at times with Sound Forge and Spectralayers included. As a lark, I hit the old emails from time to time to see if anything had changed on the offer. Well finally it has, now if you pay $199.99 you get a free upgrade to Samplitude Pro X4 Suite, Sound Forge Pro 11 and now Spectralayers 5 included. When you go to cart with this link, it doesn't even show upgrade, so maybe another product isn't even needed. Anyway, sorry for the novel.

On January 2017 I purchased the Samplitude Pro X3 with Sound Forge 11 without the Spectral LAyer Pro for $199. I have hardly used it. If I had been patient I would now get this deal. Oh well! Such is life.

BUT (as always with BEAT) only IF they haven't run out of KH One licenses ... (which they constantly do when they have a good deal up )

btw: BE CAREFUL with BEAT ! Even the short 3 magazin subscribtion changes into a permanant (1 year) one if you don't cancel it when getting the 2nd issue !!!

(+ various stuff in the smallprint: +10€/year for outer D/S/Ö countries , +16€ shipping for the "free" gift , etc ... I personally avoid them like the plague !)
