I'm sure there will be some great user-friendly "introduction to UHM scripting" series of posts or videos when Hive 1.2 is released. And many more people will happily use this thing.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Tue Oct 30, 2018 2:25 pmI'd hope so! You and drzhnn seem to be the two people taking most advantage of that feature outside of U-he HQ!Delta Sign wrote: Tue Oct 30, 2018 2:16 pmAnd just to be clear, I personally love the wavetable scripting![]()

Well, I guess Zebra is to Hive what Diva is to Repro and what Bazille is to ACE. They're siblings, but I would never go as far as to say one is just a lighter version of another.Stollmeister wrote: Tue Oct 30, 2018 3:48 pm Buchla / west coast ideas for Hive?! I didn’t see that coming. Cool! I have always put off buying Hive because I have figured I could do the same things in Zebra (and I am faster in Zebra than any other synth), but maybe I will have to reconsider.
Let me reword the question. Some people are upset because Hive is getting the wrong new features ?
Well, I'm not upset. Just surprised about the change of direction of the synth. From very simple and easy to use to super nerdy. Not complaining, just commenting. Not everyone can chime in for the cheers.Teksonik wrote: Tue Oct 30, 2018 4:23 pmLet me reword the question. Some people are upset because Hive is getting the wrong new features ?
edit - sorry, was a bit harsh. No one's being forced, though, are they?many of us are now being forced
Loading a wavetable or .uhm is simple and non-nerdy. I can manage it and I'm no geek.Just surprised about the change of direction of the synth. From very simple and easy to use to super nerdy.
