No.
(Very educated guess based on all the info in other threads.)
I would be very surprised if it is released within 6 months.

I would be very surprised if it's released in 2019, in fact.

Yeah, I don't think it's going to be out before 2020.

So in other words, make your long term investment now while The Dark Zebra is on sale
I think 2019 is plausible, seeing that Urs mentioned Z3 may start with less features than Z2. But probably no Beta before summer is my expectation

If I had to make a depressingly honest guess (knowing how slow updates can be on what's on the plate already), mine would be: official release Q2 2020 with maybe a public beta in Q1.medienhexer wrote: Wed Nov 21, 2018 4:37 pm So in other words, make your long term investment now while The Dark Zebra is on sale

Entirely possible. Not sure what the best course of action would be. That’s a looong time to invest in a new product. I‘d prefer they cut down the scope for initial release to a bare bones and built it up over time like a modular.
But I do understand people are difficult and no matter how well you explain it, they may not return if the initial release doesn’t blow it out of the water.

I would like that too but I don't think it's a good idea from a sales/marketing perspective.medienhexer wrote: Wed Nov 21, 2018 7:55 pm I‘d prefer they cut down the scope for initial release to a bare bones and built it up over time like a modular.
Yep. It doesn't have to have everything but should be pretty substantial from first release to have maximum probability of creating a heavy psychological impact.medienhexer wrote:But I do understand people are difficult and no matter how well you explain it, they may not return if the initial release doesn’t blow it out of the water.
In the meantime I'm pretty happy with Hive developments.
