yep, I'm going to get itTappistry wrote: Fri Nov 23, 2018 7:07 amThe new version of Acoustica Premium is an amazing bargain with the included plugins. You get almost the entire range of the AD plugins included with it, and they install as separate VSTs so you can also use them in other hosts.vdk-john wrote: Thu Nov 22, 2018 10:03 pm Also, I'm quite tempted by https://www.jrrshop.com/acon-digital-ac ... on-plug-in

On its own, Acoustica Standard/Premium editions are essentially a miniature DAW environment that includes spectral editing capabilities. For that reason, it's a strong contender to iZotope RX-8. The Restoration Suite plugins are particular favorites of mine for cleaning up bad dialogue for podcasts.
(also, Equalize 2 seems more than enough for what I currently need)

Am I correct in thinking Reason Lite and Limited qualify for this $99 upgrade like in the last sale?

Sadly, no. I wrote them about this and Jason stated that it did not apply, and that it was a one time sale last year. So the upgrade from Lite/Intro is $199. But you do get the Drum Player and the Europa VST.VariKusBrainZ wrote: Fri Nov 23, 2018 2:32 pm Am I correct in thinking Reason Lite and Limited qualify for this $99 upgrade like in the last sale?

Anybody know anythng about Final Mix Software?? This plug looks interesting on sale at JRR:
https://www.jrrshop.com/gauge-ecm87-mic-clone
But there's no demos, no refunds and when you go to the Final Mix Software site, it lists that this plug has been discontinued.
I'm interested in the plug but there's real chance it could be $30 down the drain.

I don't think it has the capability to host virtual instruments. It's definitely an audio editing-focused program.aMUSEd wrote: Fri Nov 23, 2018 3:03 pmSeems more audio focused? For Soundtoys 5, is it worth buying a few cheap plugins (Little x) at $25 @ JRRShop to get extra discount for the bundle on Soundtoy's site? Or the discount is less than the price of the cheap plugins? I have Little Plate so can get the upgrade at $209 rather than $249. If it's $40 rebate per plugin it's definitely worth it...
