MSF / MWobbler Filter Graph

One thing that could be really helpfull is a Graph / Display of the Filter... especially with the Polymorphs and other creative Filtertypes... today i needed to load Mwobbler in pluginDoctor to find out how much Resonance is needed for a flat curve (LP 12 --> 28.4)... then i looked at the frequency responses of all the other Filter options and this opened up a whole new insight...

It would be interesting, but it's been asked for before and Vojtech turned it down.

was it asked in the context of MSF or only for Mwobbler? maybe we can re-open negotiation?

This is the Frequency Response (Polymorph2/893.6Hz/56.4%Character/Res 40)
DID YOU KNOW THAT???
oopppss... forgot to switch off the DC Filter...

And this at Character 56.8% everything else is the same...
DID YOU KNOW THAT???
same here DC Filter still on... so there suppose to be no Low-Cut at arround 10Hz

I believe the character setting with poly morph totally changes the filter to have a completely different response.
Anyway, yes, I'd support a filter display in mwobbler as I have little idea what's going on with some of the weirder filters.

I hate to admit it but I, too, have times when I'd like to see what is happening in order to gain a greater understanding of how to apply some filters. (Not to mention that I don't think I'll ever grasp the octave settings used in other Melda plugs.)
I did just try using the Custom Shape to set a flat line and wound up with MTurboFilter.

Yes I know that it changes for every character setting (... this was somehow more an ironical attempt to show the problematic...)vectorwarrior wrote: Sat Dec 01, 2018 1:48 am I believe the character setting with poly morph totally changes the filter to have a completely different response.
especially with Polymorph such display could be really benefitial... because of this very reason...
And for me personal this feature is more important in MSF as in MWobbler... not that it should be implemented only in MSF...

Sorry folks, for now this is a no. No development time and considering complexities of many filters it would be a big burden for CPU...

A yes, CPU is more important than graphics...MeldaProduction wrote: Sat Dec 01, 2018 6:56 pm Sorry folks, for now this is a no. No development time and considering complexities of many filters it would be a big burden for CPU...
But is there maybe a future possibility of an "Offline Graph Renderer" (*

Hehe then it is development time, which is even more sparse than CPU!
