Hive 1.2 overnite sanity check

there's supposed to be a parameter for FX Section Bypass? for me it doesn't look like it, either in Kore or directly in Ableton... clicking it doesn't register anything and I don't see it in the list either...

on/off for mods: for sound designers I am a music maker, and a heavy tweaker, and I want Moar buttons to press on my Koar!

wavetable select: you're right. I'm being quite silly, it can't be on a knob, or we'd have to adjust the rotation every time new tables are added. in this case, here's what we can do - if you put some parameters on the left right arrows for the wavetable selector, I can put both of them on buttons in gate mode and it would work, it operates like a mouse click pretty much. since it moves between folders we'd be able to scroll through the whole lot. now that, that would be the luxury life.

other than that, I spent all night going through the new bank and toying with the excellent XY pad, works very smoothly. gonna be a ton of fun to make motion sequences with Hive now.

I agree...it would be great to have a wavetable patches folder, even if they duplicate the patches in the total set.

Simple: Search "tag=wavetable", right-click to select all, drag into an empty folder of your choice

(refer to user guide for exact syntax of the search, I'm still drinking coffee at home)

Ah, yes... there's a modifier key to make it duplicate -> user guide

No i actually would like to have all new patches (not nesceserely wavetable only, but all new that came after 1.0) in a new folder like "factory 1.2" or Update 1.2 like its common with some other synth updates (native instruments for ex)

all the new patches bear the Wavetable tag... but you're right, I find it useful in massive to sort by version

And I told you how to do that easily using our funky new preset browser

(again, a quick look into the user guide might not hurt, but it is that simple)

Note: All 489 new presets feature the wavetable tag.

Just giving this a demo and noticed that when clicking through presets in the browser the background changes and seems to have redraw issues. The effect is quite subtle but very definitely there on my machine. 64-bit VST2 in 64-bit Reaper 5.963 / Windows 7 64-bit.

I passed on this first time around but I'm seriously considering an early Christmas present to myself now

Gamma settings only update when the GUI is closed/reopened too.. It's immediate in the other synths of yours I've tried /owned..

Every Patch the ModWheel is assigned to the OSC1 Octave -2 to +2 ?!?!?
and i check the Mod Matrix
there is nothing assigned to the Octave ?!?!

Getting clicks on left side only using Blue Cat VST host, tend to happen on release of notes and also when volume on the plugin is turned off, also in S1 v3 GUI freezes when accessing presets using drop down menu. OSX 10.12.6. No issues in Cubase 10 yet.
