A big thx for all the work you have put into this and shared it with us freely. :tu:
Bloomin' 'eck. I haven't been receiving updates from this Thread lately. Anyway, thank you very much. I didn't expect you'd finish this so soon. :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:  Happy New Year!!!

As a big fan of DX style FM, Im curious about those who dislike FM8 but use the Arturia DX7. Is it because of the sound or something else? And if sound, what is the difference?

Thank you! :tu:

BTW, by compressing using 7-Zip the archive User.zip goes from 26.506k to 1.133k :o
The excellent Double Commander(cross platform open source file manager) has native support.

Thanks a million for the hard work.

I don't know if your project presents a different set
of extensions or an Arturia specific something?
Anyway, maybe you can save
some time based on the previous efforts.
Arturia folks will surely enjoy your efforts, regardless!
Happy 2019! :hyper:
There's something fishy with that download link ... I'm not installing a "safe browsing" extension.

Edit: Nevermind, I was clicking on the wrong link.

I attempted to use the DX7 V patches, but I can't find them in the User folder even though I copied them into (Mac): /Library/Arturia/Presets/DX7 V/User/

What am I doing wrong?
You can hear my original music at this link: https://www.soundclick.com/artist/defau ... dID=224436

Try delete the file named "db.db3" It will be rebuilt next time you launch DX7 V, and you will probably be able to see the presets after that.

Anyway, the correct and safer way to distribute the files would be through the "Export Bank" option and then using the "Import" option (both options can be find in the menu that opens by clicking in the Arturia Logo)

In what concerns fidelity converting the DX7 V presets, DX7 V is much more faithful, IMO. In what concerns the synth power, both are very powerful, but different enough to not overlap (again, IMO)

I would have never figured that out. Thanks for that tip.

Some early tests show that the full velocity option can be very useful on certain presets, even if they should, in theory, use the default DX7 velocity mapping.
