How do I physically connect a Hammond Sk so that it can communicate with the B5 and do the midi mapping? I have the UVI on a laptop and want to use it in stand alone mode. Simple English plz as you can probably tell from the question I'm not very savvy with the technical stuff. Thanks!

You basically just have to plug it in (using a MIDI cable and an audio interface that has a MIDI input or a dedicated USB MIDI cable) and select the preset in the B5 preferences.

Thanks for your reply. In the Hammond sk the midi editing is set to basic template, do you know if that's the right template or will I need to make a different midi setting? I have a dedicated USB MIDI cable on the way. Thanks again for your assistance, Alan

I have no idea, but i don't think it makes any difference what template you use. The SK documentation does not mention anything about this and an interference with the MIDI out of the SK.
