It’s certainly good, as is Valhalla Shimmer. But, hotswitch aside, Zynaptiq Adaptiverb beats them all and then some. Different price category, of course.yellowmix wrote: Thu Apr 11, 2019 6:04 am Nah, there's nothing else like Blackhole once you start playing with the hotswitch. On the other hand it's most useful for ambient style pieces and I don't use it all that much. But when I know it's perfect for the job nothing else beats it.
There's a generous 14-day demo, try it.

One thing I learnt this week is to keep a close eye on Soundtoys emails/sales. I have missed all prior sales (!) like a fool, but got my first plugin in the form of Decapitator (for $44) this time. Did not want to miss out on it at any cost. It is just freaking awesome!sqigls wrote: Thu Apr 11, 2019 10:43 am i'm still kicking myself i missed the $19 Echoboy sale last year![]()

So the EA reverbs are worth it for $199? (plus the usual discounts) I've heard good things about Phoenix and R4, but when I go to do a search, hardly anything comes up.

If you need them all, then, i guess, yeah. Considering what the single prices are.dzilizzi wrote: Thu Apr 11, 2019 6:44 pm So the EA reverbs are worth it for $199? (plus the usual discounts) I've heard good things about Phoenix and R4, but when I go to do a search, hardly anything comes up.
Forget the search, by the way. KVR sometimes just doesn't know what's good.

Are there any options for existing exponential customers ie already have excalibur, nimbus and r2. Just thought Id ask and actually wondering if the existing customers get migrated across. Can see still ilok, so guessing not using izotopes portal (as yet). Not seen anythinAmore than the announcement.Uncle E wrote: Mon Apr 08, 2019 8:31 pmThe Crossgrade from iZotope is actually a temporary product. After this sale is over, it will go away. I'm sure there will be other sales now that they are an iZotope company but I doubt any will be very much better than the Crossgrade from iZotope.hhuang9611 wrote: Mon Apr 08, 2019 7:19 pm Question about current Exponential Audio deal at iZotope
Is this sale a good one for a foreseeable future, or can we expect something better later this year or so? (like black Friday)

I probably don't need any of them. But if I get 2, I might as well buy the set.chk071 wrote: Thu Apr 11, 2019 8:47 pmIf you need them all, then, i guess, yeah. I actually checked a few other places. Mostly they say they are nice because they are transparent.
Okay I will see what I can find on YouTube...Thanks
