Tracktion plugins take ages to appear

On my Windows 10 in Waveform 10, the Master Mix, Collective and Subtractive plug-ins open instantly, even the first time opens very quickly.

(Izotope plugins annoy me a lot, they open up for a long time and at the time of opening they slow down, for any DAW - nothing like this happens with the Tracktion plugins.)

Coming to this late, but I finally put Waveform 10 on my laptop for testing. Happens here too: DAW Essentials plugins are incredibly slow to open the first time, in the 10 seconds range. Subtractive, Collective, and Master Mix (and almost any other plugin) load almost instantaneously.

Edit: Daw Essentials launch instantaneously on the same MacBook in MacOS (High Sierra). (Also, the interfaces for the DAW Essentials are tiny in Windows. When I disable the 'DPI' settings for the plugin, when I re-open it's the correct size, but the dynamic elements like the reverb waveforms and EQ dancing lines are all messed up graphically. The plugins also reset back to the tiny size the next time I launch Waveform. The plug-in interfaces are correctly sized on MacOS).

Can you post a screenshot of the DAW Essentials interfaces going wrong?
I've heard a couple of reports of other plugins that seem to have this problem but we've not been able to replicate it on any of our test machines. I'm wondering if it's something to do with the graphics driver or card?

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you: busy times!

Here are captures of what the tiny interface looks like before the DPI adjustments, and the reverb and EQ after.

This is on a 2014 MacBook Pro in Windows mode. Everything works perfect in High Sierra. (And I must say, so far I'm extremely impressed with Waveform 10 on my main system, a 2017 iMac. So far it's been rock solid. I still have to go into low-res mode on the 4k screen to avoid glitches, but it looks like Waveform is back in the game for me! Woot.)

What do you have your Windows scaling set to?
We've been trying to replicate this but haven't been able to on any of our test machines..

I think that suggestion has us on the right track: the resolution is the native recommended 2880x1800, but the Scale and layout setting is at 200% (also the recommended setting). If I change the Scale and layout to 100%, everything gets ridiculously small across all apps, but in Waveform the size of the plugin windows doesn’t change when messing with the DPI button, appearing proportionally correct (though tiny like everything else). And there are no glitches in the displays during playback. So it appears that the issue is with the app scaling. (Though there is no way to really use the machine when it’s at 100%, and changing the resolution itself to something like 1440x900 makes everything a bit blurry). Thanks!

Also, just to be clear, the slow loading is unaffected by any screen changes. :)
