Really? No interest in spending money to fix it? Then why would someone like Wolfgang Kundrus work there?

I know I wrote a lot some time ago and that hasn't changed but yea, gael, it looks like you've had an intimate interaction with them.

A while back, they had an update for Play. I updated it and it corrupted the previous installation of Play. I had to restore the registry back to it's previous state because their uninstaller just gave me an error dialogue box. Maybe, things have gotten better since? Perhaps if one installs the new Play today, they might avoid what I went through. Does Spaces even use Play to run?

+1 for Altiverb.

They sound like a bunch of a-holes...

I only have Spaces 2, I’ve never been interested in there other shit so never had to use Play.

Spaces 2 is excellent and one of the best sounding convo reverbs for the money, in my opinion.

i bought Hollywood Diamond last Thanksgiving for $359.

no problems with Play 6 and their customer service was excellent.

i just bought Spaces II for $159.

i couldn't be happier with both products.

i too have MANY reverbs, bought Spaces II, slapped it on my FX bus, and i haven't changed it since.

it really is VERY nice. sits beautifully.

How are we feeling about this product now? I'm thinking about picking it up while it's $160. I don't have a good convolution reverb.

Some claim Altiverb is more powerful, but Altiverb also costs way more. Personally I think it sounds incredible, and they have a lot of very interesting and useful spaces they have profiled, like caves, studio rooms, cathedrals, indoor pools, etc. Big thumbs up from me.

It seems that it is praised in some reviews. Just make sure you demo it because someone on the Sweetwater website claims that the installer is horrible... I don't know what to say. I'm not going to talk bad about them because it's not going to help anyone, but I will say that they really need to revamp their Play engine and installers. By the way, here is that link:

Give it a try. They offer a 10 day demo. See how it runs. It does seem like a solid product otherwise. Just accept that it becomes NFR once you buy it...unless something changed (which I doubt).

Yes. Interesting. I read all the comments in this thread, and a lot of people were complaining about "no demo"... But yes, there is indeed a demo. I'll give it a go.

Got it in now, as well as the Hollywood Orchestra Opus edition. Both seem to be made for each other, particularly those instrument specific presets in Spaces 2. Not only for orchestral, btw. Loving those ambient guitar presets come to life.
