The honeymoon period with adaptiverb has never ended for me, one of my favourite plugins. I only ask two small favours denis, could future updates allow you to choose which formats get added, as I have no use for aax and rtas. Last fav, wormhole sale next if the elves ok it.

Yes, but that didn‘t help to speed up things...Neon Breath wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 9:25 pm Already a thread here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=499187&p=7426498&hi ... e#p7426498

#1: we do plan on creating more elaborate installers yes, though it may take a while.
#2: last time I saw the elves they were doing lot of acid and telling me that they went THROUGH the WORMHOLE. I didn't get much sense out of them at the time – they were really trippin' – but looking at the neutrino emission spectrums of that day it seems plausible that they did, indeed, go through and then played with ACID Pro Next on the other side

Working on it. We don't ship stuff until we're 200% happy. This one will be really awesome.

It's been 2 days and I haven't heard from support yet, is it normal to take this long?zynaptiq wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 10:48 amThat indicates that your DAW doesn't update its latency correction scheme when a plugin sends an update. There are one or two hosts that "work" that way. The normal behavior is that in LIVE mode, NO latency is introduced ANYWHERE - in "exchange" the reverb tail will be late. If that's not the case, then the DAW isn't updating something it should be updating. In those cases, save the session & reload - that SHOULD force an update of the latency compensation engine. If not please contact our support so we can get some more detailed information on your configuration.
If what you say is the only solution to this latency I'm fairly confident it cant be resolved; resetting my daw was the first thing I tried.
I noticed someone else on the other page had this problem in Ableton 9. I'm curious does anyone else get a delay on other midi tracks from your keyboard when there's an Adaptiverb in your session?

OK; LIVE indeed doesn't update latency when we notify it of the change. Technically speaking, Live ignores changes to the basics of a plugin unless they are sent from the UI thread. Our plugins send latency updates from the DSP thread, as that is the only "source of truth" – the UI may not be open when the latency changes, for example when using hardware controllers or automation.
Luckily there is a work-around: when using VST2, toggle the plugin off/on using Ableton's "power on" button (rather than the Bypass in the plugin UI) – this forces the latency to be updated:

This is incorrect. Please check your SPAM folder. For the record: you emailed us June 18th 13:22 CET and received the first reply 5 minutes later, 13:27 CET . Our product specialist then sent you an email with a work-around June 19th, 15:14 CET.

(Note: Zynaptiq beat me to the reply with a workaround while I was writing this post)
I remember reading there was a fairly significant improvement made a few years into Live 9's lifecycle in a 9.x update, but I can't say how effective it was because I decided not to upgrade and went elsewhere when early adopters confirmed that 9.0's initial release hadn't improved things. If you're anywhere near as lax with keeping your software up to date as I am, it might be worth double-checking you're on the latest version, or at least a version after whichever 9.x update supposedly tightened up PDC handling.
I feel your pain either way. I adored everything else about Live.
I can't speak for Adaptiverb specifically, but I ended up jumping off the Ableton ship because Live's PDC handling was abysmal. Delay added to every track except one is something I thought was technically impossible (surely everything should be delayed or nothing should be, right?) yet it barely registers as a surprise because Live's PDC constantly managed to break new boundaries in terms of just how bizarrely/annoyingly it could mess with your project.Kinh wrote: ↑Thu Jun 20, 2019 6:58 amIt's been 2 days and I haven't heard from support yet, is it normal to take this long?zynaptiq wrote: ↑Tue Jun 18, 2019 10:48 amThat indicates that your DAW doesn't update its latency correction scheme when a plugin sends an update. For me, Ableton 10 projects with the updated Adaptiverb (1.2.1) do NOT load Adaptiverb anymore when reopening the project! I always have to load the plugin again. It's as if Ableton does not recognize that the project was saved with exactly the plugin that is in my plugin list. This never happened to me before with any Zynaptiq plugin ort any other plugin for that matter.
Anyone else with this problem or is this some strange system-specific thing?
