That's true, but the thread title, and the title of the poll itself is very generalized as in "Do you still use 32 bit plugins".chico.co.uk wrote: Mon Jun 17, 2019 10:01 am If I'm reading it right, the question was whether people still use the 32 bit versions of BioTek, RetroMods and DAW Essentials
Do you still use 32-bit plugins?

The title should have been more along the lines of "Do you still require 32-bit versions of plugins?"
The next version of macOS is dropping 32 bit support. Xcode has already dropped support for compiling 320bit code. On macOS 32-bit is going away sooner than later. For Windows I can see us holding out a bit longer.

maybe there's a really slim chance that there are people out there with a different host.bk wrote: Wed Jun 19, 2019 3:44 pm Not sure why you would support 32 bit plugs when your host is 64 bit only.
Makes no sense to me.

Obviously. My point is, if 32 bit isn't worth the time and trouble, then it isn't worth the time and trouble.whyterabbyt wrote: Wed Jun 19, 2019 3:50 pm

Then your point is missing the fact that they're not the same market.bk wrote: Thu Jun 20, 2019 12:41 amObviously. My point is, if 32 bit isn't worth the time and trouble, then it isn't worth the time and trouble.whyterabbyt wrote: Wed Jun 19, 2019 3:50 pm
