A VST plugin with "feel"?

You realize any two TB-303's are not exactly alike in this respect? Certainly not the ones we have measured.

Also, the potentiometer ranges of the TB-303 are anything but good, and the (tiny, cheap and crowded) knobs awkward to use.
I always use a Korg NanoKontrol2 in combination with a 303 emulation, just because of the tiny knobs 8)
So yes it's quite possible to also emulate the feel of a 303.

All of the imperfections and awkwardness is part of the magic of a 303, it's not just the sound. If you don't understand that then you can never create a proper emulation.
It's not just about feel anyway but also being able to precisely recreate patches from the original.

If you turn a knob on a plugin and the result is completely different than changing that same knob on the original, then it's not a very good emulation.

Felt Transistor Bass felt great when I first tried it, going a lot slower than most for great tweakability like a 303 commands (works well with Fire and it's nice feeling knobs too). Had tried ABL Pro before buying, but since it was still ABL2 tech opted for another FL native synth, still waiting on them updating to ABL3 inside their Pro.

If any of the ABL Pro features could be added it would make it pretty special, or as pointed out the differences in models Roland Cloud's 303 had a few little tweaks available not on the real thing due to these if they're worth including too?
Nova II, FL20+Fire, Sytrus, Transistor Bass, DUNE 3, Thorn, Viper, ANA 2 SynthMaster, Discovery Pro, Reason, SugarBytes, SoundToys, LION, TRIAD, Plugin-Alliance, T-Racks, AmpliTube, MODO Drum/Bass, iZotope MPS 2.

First 4 bars is abl3 , next 4 is transistor bass
Your last note should have been a C6 in Transistor Bass but was a C5.
I made a demo FLP for you with an additional WAV for comparison.
Beer owed? :)
I would like to , but no
You say what's the point of emulating transistor bas with another emulation ?
Well if one of the emulation ( in this case ) abl3 has been universally aclaimed as the most accurate emulation , then a comparison between the two is not that ridiculous .
Abl has been Mike Janney's ongoing project for almost 15 years .
I tried and ( fixed the last default note ) and it's still not convincing , especially the acent
On transitor bass the accent just increases the amplitude (very close to distortion ) it doesn't affect the decay curve which it should

First 2 bars abl3 , second 2 bars is Trans bass

Before anyone says I am just here to hate , I'm not ..
Challenge is still open

EDIT (forget the video) my bad on that one, I misunderstood what zamrate had posted.

We can provide any number of audio examples of Transistor Bass sounding identical (or as near identical) to a real TB-303 as you like, which is my point. We do it in the video posted above.

Just a moment. Are you really comparing Transistor Bass to ABL3?

Transistor Bass emulates (almost exactly) a real TB303. As shown in the video.

I am not sure what I can say here other than to do the comparison against the gold standard, not another emulation.
Maybe a bit different question but had to ask - is there any way FL Studio can be used an a VST effect? I remember it was working as a synth but there was feature request to be ale to run it as an effect. Was it ever implemented?
Have you seen my question? :)

No I am apparently ignoring you.

Are you saying that the audio file in the video is abl3 ??
It sounds nowhere near as the one I posted , like your comparing transistor bass with an audio file of transistor bass
I have send a personal message to Zamrate for confirmation if the included wave file is abl3 (pretty sure it is not )
First 2 bars are abl3 , next is transistor

It's the first 2 bars (abl3) that I want to see replicated in transistor bass

Lolz. I always knew it. Company reps aren't supposed to have a sense of humour.

Certainly not when the customers don't.

This thread somehow made me interested in Transistor bass. Any way to install it without installing the full FL Studio? Couldn't find any single installer on the Image-Line website.

Because your attitude from the beginning of this thread doesn't suggest that o trying to troll or bash right?
Fl studio developers really don't care about addding new improvements to their existing plugins apart from vectorized guis and eye candy
The sampler channel still uses the filters from version 3.0  , there has been no development whatsoever to improve these
The new Flex plug suffers from the same thing , it's a collection of existing modules thrown together
The image line hq's is literally a 10 min walk from my home , ( they used to reside in one the richest neighboorhouds in belgium aka st-martens latem ) , now they are located in the city .
But that is of course of no relevance , fl studio has never been king of the hill ,seriously
The only reason why kids talk about it it's because it's the most easily to grab cracked software , and once they are comfortable with the workflow ..they keep using it .
Once the kidos realise that studio one has a step sequencer (polyrytm and polymeter in one sequencer :tu: ) they wil just jump ship
I still defend my point they have not been doing any serious dsp development since gol left , the days that I.L. housed talent like arguru and gol are long gone .
and the dsp side of f.l studio has not seen any major developments aside from a few effects and a (imho a mediocre ) 303 emu
And this is just a little portion after all your "FL studio is till..." you multiple times did mention and many of them were answered, and by the way just why? you come up with this personal histories/rumors/invention that no one is even asking you or is even in topic of a FL release if you're not a hater? and you wonder why I do think you're a hater?

That's the problem with you, you want to exaggerate things and have pretty bad conclusions of things even when sometimes you are not even interested in particular products or anything and that has been demonstrated.

Dude seriously , I brought up some valid points ..that are still missing in fl studio .
Poor internal midi routing , innability to record/print a midi plugin to multiple destinations( midi channels ) , same old fruityloop :) 3.0 filters in the sampler channel etc..
SUre there are lot's of good things to be said also , but that's not the point of constructive criticism , is it not ?
Why do you feel personally offended ?
So please ,cut me some slack .

I don't want to jump into an argument but I have question. Exactly what are you hoping to accomplish with all your constructive critisism about Transistor bass, FL Studio, etc? I do assume you are trying to accomplish something.
