Your best bet is to do it yourself with samples in Kontakt or Halion. btw, are we talking Ry Cooder slide or CC Deville slide? ;)
I'm thinking hard rock/heavy metal. Whole Lotta Love type I have a groove, but I really wanted a slide down a string going in to the groove right at the beginning of the song. I guess I could find my electric guitar that I never learned to play (short, stiff fingers & guitars don't really mix) A slide shouldn't require much actual playing. Thanks, didn't think about that.

Raise your strings high, tune them to an open key, put the guitar on your lap, and play it like a lap steel. You can even mute or remove the strings you’re not playing. Use the bridge pickup.

Also, I’d be happy to play something like that for you.

i missed out on the JRR PSP Twin-L special price by seconds unfortunately, does anyone have an unused license to sell by any chance?

Thank you! I may take you up on it! :)

I have to find the guitar and try this. I think it's been in the back of the hall closet under the stairs since we moved. I know my acoustic one is there. :?

I thought perhaps I should buy and register an IK product before the Pick & Mix deadline today. I prefer buying my stuff from Uncle E. Those of you that have done your IK shopping at JRR’s, can you tell me if you’ve received the serials immediately or did it take some time? (Sometimes serials are generated automatically and sometimes manually, as far as I understand).

Deadline extended. Going 10 for 1.

The good news is that the deal has been extended. You have another 27 days. :)

Wuut?? Oh yeah, now it’s until the 30th! Phew!

But 10 or 11 free plugins? I don’t even have that many to pick! Too bad picking Custom Shop credits isn’t an option.

Companies need to stop extending good sales for stuff I don't really need..I only have so much self-control over here!

Every time someone says that, a marketing angel gets their wings.

I never "upgraded" to the Command Center versions. I really appreciated how Cakewalk used serials and did not have CR copy protection before Gibson ruined them.
I installed and authorized legacy Rapture 1.2 this morning and there's an option to register offline. So I'm pretty sure all the other Cakewalk software can still be authorized similarly, especially since they are still being sold. Bandlab's being a good steward thus far.

Russell Grand wrote: Sat Aug 31, 2019 5:23 pm Wow, no mention in this thread of 2nd Sense Audio's WIGGLE for just $19 at PiB.

What are everyone's opinions on this synth? Is it worth picking up for less than $20? I have yet to demo it - and I will - but I'm curious what you fine KVRians think.
I think it's underrated. It's great for morphing sounds. There's a state vector pad in the center, that can be modulated by its own controls or automated. The oscillators are where the action is, down to modulating individual waveform points. FM is in an NxM matrix which makes it easy to use. Modulation (LFO and Envs) take some getting used to but like I said, the vector pad and oscillators can evolve on their own. FX aren't that great but we all have fantastic FX we can insert afterward anyway. CPU use can be high if everything is moving. Demo it and see if you like it.
Glad to see a positive comment about WIGGLE, from the Youtube demos I thought it sounded pretty damn good myself. And yeah, I don't care about the FX as I have a solid arsenal at my disposal. I'll download the demo this afternoon and try it out. Thanks, yellowmix. :tu:
im looking at it, too. its been cheaper (@$10 a while back through thomann's)

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=506064&start=15

but at $19, its *still* a great deal.

Except:

Look at this webpage on 2nd Sense Audio's website:

https://2ndsenseaudio.com/support/

Notice anything about the downloads? OK: The latest build of the (4) is from May 8th, 2017; which means that their software may all be abandonware at this point (would like to hear from the dev refuting those optics. Please.)

(Edit: that just may be true with Resample and Wiggle; it's entirely possible that the dev(s) that handled those (2) products is a different person/are different people then the dev(s) that handle support for the rest of 2nd Sense Audio's ip - i personally am skeptical that development is on-going for either of the two)

He's a programmer at Xiaomi. He still actively supports his plugins (meaning you can email him and he will take care of issues for you) but probably doesn't have time for much development.
