I see some sample.packs from JRR for Moog One on offer cheap - do I assume correctly please when it lists compatability that's just for using the patches and the samples you could use in anything that can support WAVs ?

You can use the samples in anything that supports WAVs. Basically, each individual patch consists of a Reason SXT file, a Cubase FXP file, a Kontakt NKI file, a Logic EXS file, and a folder with all the samples. So, for a product with 64 patches, you will receive 256 program files and 64 sample folders.
