Thank you for that. Good to know. SoundToys are great imho. I've had the full suite for years now; and theu do most of what I want with a few other effects; or my own coded plugins here and there.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Thu Oct 31, 2019 10:53 pm I don't know the exact ins and outs, but I think it bottoms out at $249 if you own 9 (maybe 10) of the individual VSTs in the bundle. I'm in that position, having picked them all up at about $30 each when they have sporadic sales, and will now wait for the next edition of Anthology as there's not much I haven't got that I'm lusting after.
I only have a few Soundtoys and they're great so definitely got my fingers crossed for a bargain bundle upgrade deal in November.
For what it's worth I think the Eventide effects are pretty different from the Soundtoys ones. The Soundtoys are more idiosyncratic and the Eventide ones more 'that' studio sound if you know what I mean.
Absolutely know what you mean with regards to "that" sound. Won't knock Eventide at all; the hardware is awesome. I just I don't need all those effects / would be overkill for me. Mainly interested in the H3000 Factory probably.
That is a bargain of an upgrade; and silly money for a great collection.pekbro wrote: Fri Nov 01, 2019 1:44 am Dunno if it will ever happen again, but I upgraded to Anthology X from 4 plugins for $84.15.
My upgrade to Anthology XI was $1...![]()
The $1 upgrade; well.. 'nuff said. Get everyone on a consistent platform
