Their CL1B compressor is the first plugin compressor I heard that impressed me as more than a simple level-control processor. It's still one of my favorites, and my first pick for many things.Distorted Horizon wrote: Tue Nov 26, 2019 7:49 pmThey gather praising reviews, but personally I don't hear much difference between softube or (name a plugin).telecode wrote: Tue Nov 26, 2019 3:38 pm Softtube seem to have a big list of BF sale items. They are quite a big more expensive than competition. Are they that worth it?
The quality of sound, customer service, style of marketing, consistent pricing, stability, and generally reasonable CPU hit of Softube plugins put them in a higher tier of software tool than most developers. None of their plugins has ever disappointed me (except the NI-variants, which have odd UI quirks/limits, for which I blame NI, not Softube). I have more use for some than others; but they are all very good.
