i badly wish i could buy more u-he stuff but new products from u guys don't come out as often as i'd like. Ur software is very inspirational and always sounds awesome but i really wish there was more of it. Is there any chance of hiring more staff and increasing frequency of product releases?

It doesn’t really work like that - a company needs to balance its overheads (i.e. staffing costs) against profits, and also has to optimize the size of the staff for the production tasks.

More resources rarely translates into a direct increase in production rates.

right. i know. But that's my point. The more product they make the more money they could be making. More quality products in the synth marketplace means more money for u-he. A u-he fan or any other regular producer isn't going to buy 2 zebra synths. Or 2 divas. etc

I think you misunderstand me - I’m pointing out that more staff does not always help to get more products out of the door or translate to more profits - don’t you think Urs would have done that by now if it did?

There’s also the question of R&D time, technical debt, product maintenance, knowledge transfer to new staff - all of these are part of the risk equation that has to be considered before moving ahead with company expansion.

right not always but obviously if u do it right that's exactly what it does.

of course. But again, if u manage all that right u end up with more staff making more products making u more money.

Well, probably better to let someone at U-He comment, but I suspect it’s not as simple as you think it is.

More is not always better.

It's nice to see people care about our potential work load and show they feel connected. Appreciated.

But while we do love fruitful discussions on our products in a place like this, I think company internals such as strategies and staff resources aren't supposed to be discussed in public.

I don't think the skillset required to create U-He plugins is scalable.

It's not like hiring a new burger flipper.

He is a paying customer. A very happy one who is just asking for more products from the company he is supporting for years. I think that every company would be happy to have such customers.
And I agree with Sascha that such topics shouldn´t be discussed in public.
But absolutely no need to bash him.

Yes, I know. It´s the usual KVR attitude..

That’s not quite true - asking for more products is one thing, but insisting that more products can be delivered simply by adding more staff is something different.

Glad to hear of anyone supporting U-He, but as was noted above - it’s an internal subject, and not really suited to internet speculation.
