Turns out that a wrong license was delivered to me. I emailed Lexicon support and JRR shop (where I bought it) sales support and got everything sorted out The lexicon exchanged the NFR license for a full one. Thumbs up for both the lexicon and JRR shopMax369 wrote: ↑Mon May 13, 2019 7:59 pmCan you tell me, please, was it a second-hand purchase or unused licence? Really couldn't find anything prohibiting resell of a retail license on their site. Very strange.hhuang9611 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2019 5:58 am Just find out my lexicon PCM total Bundle is NFR. But I don't see anything prohibits transfer on their website...

They charge a very high fee, something like $50 per transaction!

Funny how the iLok debate is happening by their apologetics more than their antithesists.
However it's listed, it's important to me that ilok, PACE/EDEN software and eLicense get listed so that we have a place to get informed before the purchase. Especially since those companies rarely, if at all, inform you of them up front in the product overview. I like the position here of whether it is optional or mandatory as part of the information.

Sonimus: Charge 20% of current plugin price (RPP) - needs to be paid by the buyer! The license then becomes NFR.

no - I just heard from them and they have just changed their terms of service because their system was being abused. A real shame as they are a nice bunch. I had sold a couple of their things before and I had two new things for sale and removed them just now. Luckily I was double checking with Klevgrand if the transfer process was the same and no-one had bought them yet.

I contacted a few plugin developers during this Black Friday before purchasing. This is what I found:
- MusicLab do not allow license transfer. All products are NFR.
- Korg do not allow license transfer. Applies to Legacy collection and other VSTs.
- Plugin Boutique brand plugins are transferable only once i.e. it becomes NFR for the person buys it second hand (applies to Scaler and other PB branded plugins).
- Algonaut allows transfer. No fees. New buyer needs to create an account for successful transfer.
- MidiMadness allows transfer. No fees.
- Sononym allows license transfer. No fees.
- Best Service policy is pretty clear - https://www.bestservice.com/reselling_o ... ucts.html
