MasterTuner wrote: Wed Dec 25, 2019 5:17 pm I had my eye on bx_subsynth for a while, its been as low as $29 I think. Now its $39.
@Uncle E - are you doing anymore Keepforest products? I saw Atlantica was $69 in the Summer, its $99 now on their website "on sale".
I'm looking at the Focusrite 2i2 3rd Gen too. Focusrite have not really had a BF or Christmas sale at all. :(
The bx_subsynth is worth $39? Several weeks ago the bx_oberhausen was $49 with a $50 coupon which is a lot more reasonable than $250.

The Brainworx Ampeg Amps are the same ones on UAD and those are definitely worth the $49 a sale price.

If only they'd put their "real value" prices to the actual sale prices, and then do a 50% off I might actually buy something.
how about just dont buy anything?

musical wrote: Wed Dec 25, 2019 12:52 pm GM's download policy is also pantastic.
When you order from us, you get 10 downloads that never expire. We store previous versions on our server, too.
You don't sell their upgrades though, do you? So, once the initial purchase is made, that doesn't help.

And at $95, the price of the upgrade I can't buy from you with the poor download policy is nearly double what I paid for Neo-Soul Keys Studio 1 and Heat Chops.

Also a good plan indeed, they have some useful stuff however. I have Gold and a few extras and use them quite often. However they are one of the worst companies in my opinion regarding their prices and licensing. I'd expect at least 2 licenses per account for example, so I can use them on my laptop as well. So yeah, I've been trying to look for alternatives.

For just $89.99 (instead of $599), get the Mega Vocal Bundle featuring 15 of the finest vocal libraries from Black Octopus Sound.
Anyone got vocal libs from Black Octopus yet? I’m interested to use them in a Zoom Arq-96 I just bought.

I have a few that I got with other bundles. For example, I got the "Positive Flow by Everyman" with their 808 day bundle. The files are 24-bit/44.1k WAV (stereo), both dry and wet, and have key and BPM in the file name.

Out of curiosity, why? I mean, the other complaints about download policy and update pricing seem legit, but I skimmed this privacy policy and it looks bog-standard to me. Am I missing something?

The part where they say they will mine your social media and contract with third parties to get your information and use it to target you and profit from your personal information isn't "bog-standard". This is why I don't register for sites that only have social media authentication—it may be for authentication now but it's also linked to your personal information as well as your family and friends. And less scrupulous devs will do stuff like this instead of send out surveys that are voluntarily answered.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, mladi.

The only thing worth getting from their sad sales/catalog...
Throwing out a general question: Ignoring the cheap price, is this really worth looking at if you already have too many synths? I am not into EDM by the way.

Thorn is very hard, digital sounding. Great for techno, psytrance, etc. One of my favorites for basses.

Beautiful pads are also possible and everything else because of the pristine clear sound quality with spectral synthesis, PWM, RM and FM. :hihi:
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.
