This one is an attempt to get the high and low registers just right. It should would work in more arrangements than the patch from my last track.

It uses the Trajector OSC FX on three layered wave forms. One thing that helps piano sounds is using an envelope on OSC Tune to make it go slightly sharp on the Attack. For higher notes a little less Release helps it sound like you are striking a higher key. Inverse Key Follow on the ENV1 Release handles that.

The OSCs use quad voice for thicker sound but no width so it doesn't get lost in the strings. If you want a wider sound set the width of each OSC and the COMB filter to the same width.

Here's the patch: Clangorous Blue Piano

Here is a track using the patch so you can hear it:
Time Was

Piano - Zebra
Strings - Diva
Flute - Hive
Violin - Zebra

Enjoy!

very interesting patch!

Glad you like!

I tweak it every time I use it, lol. Since it takes up all 4 lanes, turning lanes off and on or adjusting the mix between them sometimes works better than EQ.

Would love to hear anything you guys compose with it.
