II never owned one of these in hardware so I can't compare
What I have noticed is when both saw+square ( single osc ) is enabled on pro 5 it sounds like on the sh 101 , while doing the same on the pro 1 , (which gives the effect of the saw being an octave higher ) , because the polarity of the square wave is inverted iow , on the pro 1 the square waveform starts with the positive cycle , whereas on the pro 5 it starts with a negative cycle .
The diffenrence is clearly audible

Is this also the case on the hardware , also wondering why Mr. D.Smith choose this design choice for the pro 1 ?
I much prefer the pro-5 saw square versus pro-1

Edit I just noticed there is an saw invert option on repro-5 tweaks page , would be great if the pro -1 had this too

The main difference is signal gains. IIRC the reason is signals being cut off vs. signals being grounded. Maybe an oversight by the engineer who replaced the Prophet-5's electronic switches with the mechanical switches in the Pro-One.

The saw invert option for Osc B is available in both.

Thanks for the clarification , I must have missed the inverted option on the pro 1 .
