What I have noticed is when both saw+square ( single osc ) is enabled on pro 5 it sounds like on the sh 101 , while doing the same on the pro 1 , (which gives the effect of the saw being an octave higher ) , because the polarity of the square wave is inverted iow , on the pro 1 the square waveform starts with the positive cycle , whereas on the pro 5 it starts with a negative cycle .
The diffenrence is clearly audible
Is this also the case on the hardware , also wondering why Mr. D.Smith choose this design choice for the pro 1 ?
I much prefer the pro-5 saw square versus pro-1
