And also, ironically, can save people a lot of money. In most cases, the reality of the software doesn't live up to the hype of the advertising, and demoing can confirm this.

I only came here for the deals.
Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.

Indeed.

Let's keep this topic about free stuff from devs.

On the linked page it says this is a 60 day license. Does that mean it expires in 60 days, or has to be registered within 60 days? I don't want to download and install it if its essentially a demo. Anybody know?

Post

The licenses expire after 60 days.

Never forget it's all about business as usual.
It is funny watching all these companies use an unfolding disaster as a business opportunity. But hey, I'll take a sale where I can get it, I'm not fussy...
That's just the other side of the business as usual coin. amiright?

I'm not complaining, I have a Reaper license but it was easier to just download the free license than to go find the email with the license text for a computer that I temporarily installed Reaper on for a quick job.

I hope that most are doing ok in this thing. I don't worry about the Justin Frankels of the industry, but there are more than a few one man shops who might be feeling the pinch.
