no need to drag Odin into the terminal:simmo75 wrote: Tue Apr 21, 2020 4:21 pm
Edit: tried the Terminal cmd, it still doesn't work, probably user error but the instructions don't seem very clear to me.
I dragged the odin within its VST3 location into Terminal, hit enter then copied your line into Terminal hit enter and... nothing.
Am I missing something?
Code: Select all
cd ~/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST3Code: Select all
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine Odin2.vst3Ouch, true!Erisian wrote: Tue Apr 21, 2020 9:44 pm The glide function doesn't seem to work with the multi-oscillator.
It's in the VST3 folder mate.TheWaveWarden wrote: Tue Apr 21, 2020 9:45 pm
Then the plugin is not in the folder
Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST3
Where did you save the Odin2.vst3 file?
Ok then please type the following three commands in a terminal and send me the output of each command:
Code: Select all
cd ~/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST3Code: Select all
lsCode: Select all
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine Odin2.vst3Thats ok no problem

Fixed as wellexmatproton wrote: Sun Apr 19, 2020 11:22 pm just play some quick notes. You can hear that when the release is 'done', a new note affects the modulation on the filter.
Awesome update! Dist per voice is great! Dist on the master can be achieved by adding fx after the plugin, so yeah, we don't really need that (imho).TheWaveWarden wrote: Thu Apr 23, 2020 10:39 am Version 2.0.18 beta is up
This is a rather big update, which completely reworks how the distortion works and implements some bugfixes and other changes.
Distortion and amplifier are now 12-voice polyphonic
To better explain what has changed I created this infographic:
2.0.18.beta.png
This has some major implications:
Instead of distorting all voices mixed together, each voice is distorted individually now. This makes the distortion actually usable now![]()
Note also that the amp-envelope application was moved after the distortion: This means the distortion is now evenly applied. Before it would be much stronger when the amp-env was "loud" and less strong or none at the beginning and end of the note.
Furthermore, you can now properly modulate velocity->amp-gain, which was behaving weirdly, as the amp was mono.
Full changelog:
- made amplifier and distortion polyphonic
- moved amp-envelope after distortion
- fixed oscillator as polyphonic modulation source
- fixed glide in multi-oscillator
- lowered the minimum volume for osc-volume to -60dB
- lowered the minimum volume for filter gain to -60dB
- lowered the minimum volume for amp gain to -30dB
- lowered the minimum volume for master to -30dB
