Use the coupon code LION-4999 to get it for just $49.99
Offer ends May 13, 11:59 PM California Time

https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/prod ... _lion.html
The voucher code MTFBWY25 is still working and can be stacked with the above voucher, bringing it down to $24.99 in cart.

Thanks, it worked!
Bought mostly on the way it sounds and the BYOME randomizer.
and the MPE.
Once again - brings down, where, depending on the local VAT (up to 27 % in Europe). Don’t give too positive picture of the reality.

To thank you all we've got 70% off everything on our site until the end of May! Don't miss out.
That's a big news and sale, though not that surprising about Splice amalgamation. Been a big fan of Sample Magic stuff. One of the best sample makers. Thanks for posting! :tu:
Anyone have some suggestions for gems from Sample Magic?

It's indeed confusing to choose, especially because almost everything sounds good in audio demos. Depends on your genre, but their Electronica and Chillout packs are something I personally love and are better suitable for my music compared to others.

I would highly recommend using filters on their website to narrow down the selection as much as possible. Perhaps just stick to one or two genres.

Maybe not with VAT, but without VAT this combination does bring it down to #24.99.

Thank you to Ceej and Kalamata Kid for posting. I've been looking at Lion for a while now and this was too good to pass up.

Just got this also. These days ,all I'm looking to get is soundmakers not fx so this is right in my ballpark. I have Serum , GO2, Massive X and Omnisphere plus Komplete so I would have normally investigated in depth but $25 is a "jump first" price for me. Thanks for posting

Chainer doesn't pickup Reason Rack, added all the necessary directories, doesn't work.

Also for reference, I loaded up 3 synths in Chainer, got artifacts. Same 3 in cubase played at the same time, perfect.

I'm not bothered its only $20, however I'll be sticking to templates and removing Chainer. Mainly, I just want to inform the community my of my 10 minute test result.
Have you tried Vital?

Thanks for the info, what a disappointment. I dont have Reason but I did test it extensively in Cubase and it has always worked. But I never tried chaining synths in a row, always 1 or two max. So, not a perfect program for Synth chaining perhaps but for guitar playing it has been excellent - Ive had 2 amp going in, then chorus, 3 reverbs and 2 delays in my chain without any problems.

I heard P&M Chainer also doesn't compensate for latency - is that true? That's a showstopper. Bye bye delay sync. I will pass on this ancient abandonware.

But there is clearly a gap in the market for this kind of thing in an affordable package.

I don't know how Unify compares to this. You can load both midi and vst effects and instruments in a chain then save as a preset. https://www.pluginguru.com/products/unify-standard/

Only problem for me is it doesn't support AAX, so won't work in my ProTools. I've also had some crashing with it. I found when I loaded Kontakt first, I would crash in the standalone version. But if I load a midi effect first, Kontakt was fine. But that could be me.

I just bought Chainer and it works perfectly in my DAW, Studio One. I have both Plug & Mix plugins and my third party VST plugins in a chain, and it works great.

I wish I had known about this long ago. Chainer is really a nice plugin. Also, their VIP Bundle sounds really nice. I've listened to several of their plugins, and they sound clean and work as expected. I really like em...

If you keep your eyes on their sales, they usually have great promotions. I just missed their VIP Bundle promotion, which went for $49.99. It ended last April 28th, 2020.

I saw this on their Facebook page... Check their FB page here... or their recently expired promo Here...

These really are nice plugins.

There's a couple options in the $79-$99 range, including Unify, Blue Cat Patchwork, etc.

In the slightly cheaper range there's DDMF Metaplugin for $50, which looks pretty neat.

There's actually a ton of options, many free, with varying levels of quality and supportedness - https://www.kvraudio.com/plugins/plug-i ... ack/start0

Main difference I can see is you won't be able to establish an effects chain as IIRC currently Unify only surfaces as a VSTi (instrument) and not effect so you wouldn't be able to pass through the sound from another instrument or audio sample. They are constantly working on Unify though - I know they're wanting to add in things like allowing it to surface as a MIDI effect so maybe audio effect is going to be doable.

I guess Blue Cat PatchWork is the closest to what Chainer can do, but it's not overly intuitive and I find it a bit glitchy to use, sometimes patches within PatchWork go missing, crashes aren't infrequent so I haven't used it for a long while. Especially now when most DAWs can handle VST3 whereas when I bought PatchWork a few DAWs would only react to VST2.

I didn't say it didn't work - I said it doesn't see Reason Rack. Does your chainer see Reason Rack?

I also mentioned the glaring inherent issues with multiple VSTs running inside chainer verses running native DAW. And a very big problem that is when we're only talking 3 VST patches, I didn't need to test further.

Grains of salt for praise should be taken.
