- Submix Tracks: Fixed a problem indirectly soloing submix tracks if they're routed to other audio tracks
- Soloing within folders & submixes doesn't work for me anymore. All other solos of a folders are going to flash, while all tracks are still playing back - So, nothing gets solo'd .
- Mute works as expected.

Window 10
Can you explain this a little bit more please? This change was made so that if you have a submix track routed to another audio track, soloing the audio track will also solo the submix track and its contents.

If you solo a submix track or an audio track inside a submix track, the submix will get soloed.

Is the problem that if you have multiple tracks inside a submix track, soloing one of those tracks will also solo all the other sibling tracks and the submix?

Yes, because folders and submixes will effectively disable soloing.
I found the way W11.0.26 handled soloing was perfect: Soloing a track lets you hear the selected track exclusively (including its routing). Soloing a folder lets you hear particular folder exclusively.

Food for thoughts: Studio One includes bus sends of solo'd tracks.

Problems of 11.0.32:
You group your bass, keys and drums to a common folder.
->Now you can't solo the bass track for example, because they all become "solo". You will hear bass, keys and drums nevertheless.
->You cant solo a folder within a folder, since all hierarchies will play.

=>as soon as you put multiple tracks into a single folder or submix, you can't solo them.

Ok, I'll disable the indirect soloing I added. I think this will mean that if the submix feeds in to another audio track though you'll have to manually solo that track for the submix to be audible.

W11.0.26 is aware of follow up track chains of submixes and keeps them active too, if you solo tracks within a submix. Which is perfect

Yeah but that doesn't take in to account the new method that I added which enables you to send a submix track to another audio track. It's that bit of logic that's difficult to work in correspondence with the old behaviour.

Unfortunately, I don't have enough background knowledge of coding to understand, why the upcoming implementation of submixes would interfere with solo routings.

My personal suggestion withstands, that submixes described in previous bug report would ease up limitations. Soloing tracks got added to the list as it seems.

Sidenote:
I really love nearly every workflow decisions of you & the dev team. I just want to point out the last bits, which I believe would give users benefits and improve the overall experience.

Step sequenceur saving a preset exclude pattern : when reloaded, no grid in the step sequencer so no possibility to enter notes.
