I also made a spreadsheet with a list of the wavetables of both Largo and Blofeld, and from which hardware synths they are derived from, if you're interested (gathered from the synths' manuals): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

I do not understand the preset functions. There is a pull-down category thing, but when I select a category, it does nothing. Is there a way to filter presets to show only basses, for example?
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

I've always wanted a Waldorf synth, so this offer came around a nice time. Not really done much with it yet, but presets are a bit underwhelming.
Hopefully it is capable of some cool stuff, seems it in the way it works.

Well what can I say, I've been messing about with it all morning, and I can come back and say the presets do not do this synth justice at all.
It's a pleasure to use tbh, it sounds incredible, basic patches have a clarity and lushness and once you get to grips with the controls, you have some wicked options.
And the best bit is some high unison patches with loads of reverb etc, tiny CPU imprint, its seriously impressive.
I am so pleased I picked this up yesterday, was a bit put off by the presets, but spent a few hours with it now and i'm blown away. I wonder what their blofeld sounds like in comparison.
