This site with the delightful name came up on SonicState the other day
https://www.knobcloud.com/
maybe early days, but there’s not that much there currently and prices aren’t that great, the marketplace here may be a better bet. Seems they’re relying on PayPal to handle disputes.

Its early days for the guys who have put it together, sadly for them there has been some backlash against it for various reasons that it still has teething issues and stuff that it doesnt address (while its aim is to make things easier to have all details for buying and selling streamlined and clear its still not quite succeeding). There is a discussion about it here on kvr if anyone is interested to get more of an idea of the issues raised:WatchTheGuitar wrote: Fri Jun 26, 2020 7:21 am This site with the delightful name came up on SonicState the other day

In my opinion the site is a bit confusing. All the photos are unnecessary and take up a lot of space.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Fri Jun 26, 2020 7:21 am This site with the delightful name came up on SonicState the other day

I also find it better solved here at KVR that you can put several plugins in one post.
There you have to open a new one for each plugin.

I did manage to sell stuff there quicker and, probably, for higher prices than here on Kvr. In my opinion it's better to have one post per product there. It's easier to manage and you can make custom bundles quite easily.paolostylo wrote: Fri Jun 26, 2020 8:58 amIn my opinion the site is a bit confusing. Yeah realise it’s early days. I would have looked on the forum, but it’s not something I wanted popping up on my autocompleteInsanelysane wrote: Fri Jun 26, 2020 8:48 amIts early days for the guys who have put it together, sadly for them there has been some backlash against it for various reasons that it still has teething issues and stuff that it doesnt address (while its aim is to make things easier to have all details for buying and selling streamlined and clear its still not quite succeeding). If they could come to some arrangement with iLok for lower transfer fees or as an aftermarket for manufacturers offloading earlier versions of things they’d potentially make a killing, but they probably wouldn’t have the pull for those deals until they make a big enough name. Like many new startups it’s all a bit chicken and egg.

How long is this going to last at JRR Shop, Uncle E? The website mentions sale is up to 16th July, but just thought to confirm.Uncle E wrote: Thu Jun 25, 2020 4:00 am 30% off FXpansion Cypher2, Strobe2, Upgrades, and Crossgrades, including Cypher2 Upgrade from Strobe2 for $69:

Not sure I want to upgrade to Cypher2 this time though. Will these upgrade sales repeat later this year (with a better discount)?

Any idea how often Synapse Audio have sales? I'm tempted by the Waldorf Largo offer but will probably just wait instead to upgrade to Dune 3 the next time it goes on sale. Seems there was one in April that I missed.

Not entirely clear where presets go for these things - there is no preset loader/save dialogue (just a few builtin ones).telecode wrote: Wed Jun 24, 2020 8:52 amI am a big fan of their stuff. Either they're after your information through what has been already said here and / or they're selling pirated stuff. Nevertheless, those prices are a ridiculously giving away that it's a total scam.
If anyone from that endeavor is willing to come here and defend theirs, explaining how they can sell stuff at those prices I am indeed interested what they will bring up.

I wonder if they are going to get a lot of misguided traffic from the UK. But quite an interesting concept!WatchTheGuitar wrote: Fri Jun 26, 2020 7:21 am This site with the delightful name

Mos def. Whats shady, is that they seem to have manipulated their TrustedShops Stars & also managed to get Top search Results on #Deals via Google. So if one is too quick & doesnt think... who knows. KVRlers should be safe, though! Hopefully.InkSFX wrote: Fri Jun 26, 2020 2:03 pmEither they're after your information through what has been already said here and / or they're selling pirated stuff. If you visit the sale page, there is a 20 bucks section. Nothing really great ... but free.Mushy Mushy wrote: Fri Jun 26, 2020 4:01 pmWhich ones are $20?ralfrobert wrote: Fri Jun 26, 2020 3:23 pm Freebies possible at Plugin Alliance. I sorted by price (low to high) and these didn't appear. Weird.
Thanks
