New #plugin scam Site, or what is this crap about?

My antivirus seems to be repeatedly blocking things from that site... could be a false alarm but seems sketchy.

Love their prices, but too much to experiment.

Omnisphere 2 for £89???
Arturia V Collection 7 for £48.99???
Fabfilter Total Bundle for £35.99???
Please...

It’s a pricey way to acquire malware. You can get malware for free in so many other places.

Its early days for the guys who have put it together, sadly for them there has been some backlash against it for various reasons that it still has teething issues and stuff that it doesnt address (while its aim is to make things easier to have all details for buying and selling streamlined and clear its still not quite succeeding). There is a discussion about it here on kvr if anyone is interested to get more of an idea of the issues raised:

In my opinion the site is a bit confusing. All the photos are unnecessary and take up a lot of space.
I also find it better solved here at KVR that you can put several plugins in one post.
There you have to open a new one for each plugin.

There you have to open a new one for each plugin.

I did manage to sell stuff there quicker and, probably, for higher prices than here on Kvr. In my opinion it's better to have one post per product there. It's easier to manage and you can make custom bundles quite easily.

Yeah realise it’s early days. I would have looked on the forum, but it’s not something I wanted popping up on my autocomplete

If they could come to some arrangement with iLok for lower transfer fees or as an aftermarket for manufacturers offloading earlier versions of things they’d potentially make a killing, but they probably wouldn’t have the pull for those deals until they make a big enough name. Like many new startups it’s all a bit chicken and egg.

Any idea how often Synapse Audio have sales? I'm tempted by the Waldorf Largo offer but will probably just wait instead to upgrade to Dune 3 the next time it goes on sale. Seems there was one in April that I missed.

Any opinions on the puremagnetik granular bundle on Sale? Don’t own any of their products so unsure of the quality / longevity. Happy accidents aside, I Also wonder how controllable / useable these granular FX are?

I am a big fan of their stuff. I just saw the email yesterday but haven't looked into it yet.

Not entirely clear where presets go for these things - there is no preset loader/save dialogue (just a few builtin ones).

Mos def. Whats shady, is that they seem to have manipulated their TrustedShops Stars & also managed to get Top search Results on #Deals via Google. So if one is too quick & doesnt think... who knows. KVRlers should be safe, though! Hopefully.
