I own IK Total Studio MAX 1 too and I would have upgraded to Total Studio MAX 2 during sales when the upgrade is discounted 75% like right now but Sample Tank MAX 4 is not included and so I will keep waiting for a Total Studio MAX 3 to upgrade.

Total Studio 3 might be coming soon since it looks like Amplitube 5 will be announced in a couple of days.

Id pay $30 for that upgrade, certainly no more.
Same reason I didnt upgrade to VA-3 yet.
$79 should be the full RRP

I think $49 is my max for an upgrade for that, nothing too compelling. Bi-timbral/multi-timbral is pretty pointless in a soft synth and only really of interest to preset peddlers. The sound source mix and match gives a few more options, but I was really hoping for some interesting bowing options.

That is exactly how I feel.

On the other hand - AAS is one of the few companies in this industry, that I feel great sympathy with. Lately they haven’t had any major launches, and the Chromaphone 3 seems to one. AAS is a small company with good products. I own all of their software, plus a bunch of expansions.
Every developer needs resources to keep up the company economically.
Therefore I may redeem the Chromaphone 3 with the price asked.

I like their products, but I’m not treating them like a charity case. I paid for the VA-3 upgrade not that long ago, they’re knocking out product on a reasonably regular basis.

Completely forgot and had to go through my emails, I went from VA-2 Session to full VA-3 for $49

The upgrade from string studio from 2 to 3 was $39 in 2019.

And please confirm with me that OB-Xa V is not included in V7.

It was $99. OB-Xa V is not included in VC7, it will be a part of VC8.

Thanks, as I remembered it was $99 for the upgrade as well. It sounds more attractive. Hope they still use the price tag next month. Or, I may be upgrading from Exp 5 to Exp 6.

yeah, holy shit. Why are synth nerds always such drama queens? AAS hasn't even announced the product yet, nor the upgrade price and yet all you diva's have your panties in a bunch. VA2-VA3 upgrade was $39 and C3 will probably be the same. Besides that, no one is forcing you to upgrade if you don't want, so please calm the F down and let AAS have a proper product release without the community flipping out and damaging their reputation in the process.
