Hello my friends.
I would like a suggestion from the experienced staff with plugins.
One time I decided to have only original plugins. My dream is to have a Kontakt (not the player). It could just be the Kontakt, but he, for the little I saw, does not lower the price much and I don't remember seeing promotions. (Remembering that I am new to this "treasure hunt" of plugins with attractive prices).
I would like to know if anyone can suggest to me in what "best way" to have kontakt spending as little as possible.
Would it be buying a very old version and upgrading, or taking a not so old version? I see a lot of sales topics with various types of updates and I'm confused as to which way to get a kontakt just for the best price.
Unfortunately in this world crisis, the Brazilian currency has depreciated a lot in the face of the American dollar. We pay at least 6 times the amount that anyone else would pay. This makes things very difficult for those who want to have original plugins.
Thank you friends!

If yes, get this library for free and register in your NI account via Native Access: https://www.embertone.com/instruments/arcane.php
This makes you eligible for Kontakt Crossgrade. You can then wait for the 50% sale on crossgrades, which will get you Kontakt 6 for $125. This sale should happen next month.
The second best option is to get full version of Kontakt 6 for $199 (50% off on the full version), which should happen next month. This option is only applicable if crossgrades are not on 50% discount.
The third option is to look in the sell & buy forum here and see if anyone is selling it for cheap.

LOL!! That's right -- Jamstix comes with plenty of attitude.Ceej wrote: Tue Oct 27, 2020 11:41 pm
Seems like Rayzoon emulated a human drummer a little bit TOO well!
Yeah, I feel you. I've got Jamstix and most expansions as well, and I love what it is supposed to do, but there's no question it's harder than it should be to make it do it. You seem to have put considerably more effort into it than I have, which worries me a bit.
That being said, it's one of my favorite plug-ins, and it goes on just about everything I do. It is challenging to coax it to play the groove I am looking for, but once I get it there, it adds ornamentations and fills without me having to think of them. Fills can be changed with a click of a button, and there seems to be an endless variety of them -- no more searching through MIDI files to find just the right one. In fact, I often find that Jamstix will introduce such interesting variations that I will change the rest of my arrangement to suit. And if I really can't get a part right in Jamstix, I can always output the MIDI and make my own changes. So, despite the bugs, I am a huge fan.
Since I've volunteered my fan-boy-ism, I will complain about one thing. The Rayzoon message boards are full of people asking about what settings they should use to get a particular groove. So many, that it would seem a natural progression of the software that users can more easily get to what they are looking for and tweak from there - like a preset system. Instead, between Jamstix 3 and 4, they introduced a 3-D model of the drums being played by an invisible person. I'm not sure whose use case is being satisfied with that, but I imagine it's a pretty small sub-section of music-makers. I think that was a lost opportunity. Nevertheless, I upgraded, and when they go to Jamstix 5, I'll upgrade then too.
I don't think there is any product that comes close to what Jamstix does. The other one that looks compelling is Realitone's Realidrum. But I haven't tried it. Between AD2, Jamstix, and a bunch of inexpensive drum MIDI packs, I think I'm pretty solid on the drum front.
