Looks more like they were primarily interested in the codebase to extend their own product line.
To be honest, the Neoverb's usability far surpasses the Exponential Audio interfaces, so I have no actual beef. And given both company's involvement in post, it seems like it was a good fit.

Just seems funny to me after the brouhaha over the R2 license transfers from the Focusrite deal.

I am sure a company like Izotope sells a heck of a lot more than he ever could on his own.

I think he caught a lot of flack for the way he handled upgrades. Treating R2 and R4 like separate products. So he decided to focus on the coding and let Izotope handle the marketing and distribution.

There are also issue specific plugins, only available with 1 issue.

I had 2 sale subscriptions and it's just expired.
Watch out though, they use auto renew which can be cancelled.

Lots of ads in these mags.

Worth it just for the freebies and seemingly near monthly sample packs :)

Magazine seems good too - just to note

Plus, you know, thousands of other magazines that you might like too.

Also FYI in my experience you can generally unlock Computer Music content almost forever (there are occasional exceptions), but most Beat cover stuff seems to be available for 2-6 months after the issue is published.
If you go down this route (apart from remembering to cancel) remember that you also get access to Beat Magazine, which this month (11/2020) is offering Ozone Elements 9 as part of their Beat Studio (you can also get Thorn Solo and so on).

Only EUR 5,49 for the download magazine. Haven't I got enough tape delays already?

This was posted in the No Chat thread: "Plasmonic - Free Demo Version released"

However, the demo limitations are pretty severe:

"* Save is disabled

* No total recall

* Audio stops after 30 minutes"

Yes, but FYI at least on Zinio so far the English Language version of Beat Mag is still the previous issue which had Voltage Modular Nucleus as the main freebie. If you want the IK Tape Delay, make sure you wait for the December issue to come up (or buy it in German if that works for you).
