I thought sugarbytes have long used the free+IAP model for their ios apps?

drumcomputer was certainly like that a couple of weeks ago when I downloaded the free part, and aparillo was like that months ago. They still show the same to me if I view them in the app store (with full IAP's of $27 and $18 respectively).

Yep. Got the offer, apparently because I subscribe to Loopcloud.

I was on the Loopcloud-Site. But I was not able to get information how and when to cancel a subscription.
Can I cancel at any time or monthly? If I start a trial, does it suspend or does it turn automatically into a subscription or do I have to cancel proactive?
Question about questions... Sorry... :hihi:

yeah, I think they just got excited about the free bit and didn't spot the IAP.

I downloaded the free/limited version of Drumcomputer a few days ago and then saw the posting today. I deleted the free version and downloaded again but still the limited version. I was hoping for a sale on this. I did get Looperator; cant tell yet if its limited or not

From the main Loopcloud site:
Upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time

Download the free version or take a 30 day free trial and you won't be charged until after your free month. We'll send you a reminder before your free trial ends. You can cancel at any time, and you will keep all of the sounds you’ve purchased as part of your subscription - these are yours to use forever.
Once you have a subscription there is a "cancel subscription" button in your account. Just click on it to cancel. Very painless.

No idea if it's a promotion or a price change, but Maschine 2 Software Only is 50% cheaper at the moment. https://www.native-instruments.com/en/p ... s/pricing/

It’s a really good creative reverb, it has ducking and compression, which I really like.
Thanks mate.

Yep, but if they didn't change it, the trial is cancelled immediately and does not run for the full trial period.

Is there any point to owning Maschine software without the hardware though? I have all these expansion packs from the KOMPLETE CE and mainly using them through Battery. I am quite curious if I would get any value just by adding the software.

I'm getting into sound design - Any filters to recommend that's currently BF priced?
Filterfreak is highly regarded, though it was cheaper in May ($29 vs BF sale price of $39). It's on my wish list.
Cableguys is currently on sale; any opinions regarding their filters especially as compared to Filterfreak?
Not trying to shoo you away or anything, but I agree with the previous poster who suggested you might get better advice/recommendations in the Effects forum.

For example, see this thread: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=543085

yes it's not bad for £30. It's nearly a DAW and works fine with using the mouse. It's not Bitwig, Bitwig is better but for £30 it is very very good. I think it's a lot of fun and nice for a change of scenery from your usual DAW. I bought Maschine Jam, and i thought Komplete Select + Maschine software = estimated £30 for Maschine Jam hardware.

I mean what i wanted was Komplete Select + Maschine software, and i got a free or cheap Maschine Jam for free included!
