DUST granular fx and synth doesn't seem to get a lot of love here but I have been using it for quite a while and whenever another granular something comes along I test against DUST and end up saving my money The spatial modulation seems a bit of a gimmick at first but actually can quite radically (and surprisingly) change the sound - in a good way

I have a question for you.
Melodyne essential was updated to v5 for free for S1 users. What happens when you have Melodyne Editor 4?
Melodyne Essential doesn’t have a version. Anyone with an Essentials license can get the latest version. Higher tier versions aren’t like that so are paid upgrades.

Are you safe?

joe2 wrote: Mon Nov 23, 2020 3:33 pm Has anyone bought AAS Modeling Collection from JRRshop recently/during the current sale?

The product page https://www.jrrshop.com/aas-applied-aco ... collection lists old versions of some plugins, but according to AAS's website/some other resellers, the current Modeling Collection should include all the latest versions (e.g. Chromaphone 3, etc.).

My guess is that JRRshop's page is just out of date and the license they'd deliver would get you all the latest stuff when entered on AAS's website. But hoping to get confirmation before buying :)

Cheers!
Thanks for asking! You will receive the latest versions.
Seeing this makes me wish I would have waited before buying Chromaphone3+Packs :(. Purchased on the last day of the sale then the next day a new sale began for 30$ cheaper. Unfortunate PB wouldn't give me a credit for the difference ;(.

I just checked out the thread on Dust again, and there are complaints about the devs not addressing bugs, not responding to emails. If it works for you, that is great, but I am staying away.
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

I didn't see "filterbot" on their site. Is it part of another plugin?

Ou_Tis wrote: Sun Nov 22, 2020 4:27 am Any idea if the Soundiron sale will become available at third-party vendors? Or just through their web store? I'm pretty sure Plugin Boutique had the Soundiron sales during BF in the past....
It's now available at Best Service, Plugin Boutique, etc.

GMusic wrote: Mon Nov 23, 2020 1:45 pm Anyone not too impressed with many of these Black Friday deals? They're mere rebranding of standard discounts a lot of these developers have throughout the year. Although there's some developers who only have sales once a year, on Black Friday, which at least makes it a bit more special ;)
There are a lot of really good sales scheduled for Cyber Monday. I'm pretty surprised the iZotope Holiday Bundle hasn't taken off more but I guess everybody has already gotten those plugins. We'll be announcing something cool on Wednesday.
Hi Eric, you know when the Black Rooster sale ends? Thanks.
What ever!

@Kalamata Kid: Nice.

I have Pigments 2 and I would recommend it, especially for an excellent price of $69 that you are seeing. I was demoing Granulizer 2 yesterday, and while it is great, I was wondering if I will really make use of it since Pigments 2 already has a great granular engine. I also recently got Equator2 and there's also Padshop 2, Straylight and Pharlight. These plugins cover almost everything one would need and they make Granulizer 2 too redundant for me even if the BF offer will be like 20 EUR for me.

I was eyeing Glitchmachines Polygon 2 and some other cheap stuff, but again, the question what will I do with all these granular plugins?!

Just sharing some thoughts, especially to reiterate to myself that I don't really need any of these plugins however cheap they may be. I had kept a few browser tabs open with all these plugins, but today I closed them with a smile and saved some important $s.

Similar thoughts on Granulizer 2 but now that you said it I will wait till Nov. 30 and then decide.
Did not update to Polygon 2 for the $10.
