Very tempted to get Manic Compressor. One question: would you say it’s also worth getting for applying regular compression? I know it’s designed primarily for parallel compression.Burillo wrote: Thu Nov 26, 2020 3:19 pm after careful deliberation I bought Boz El Clapo and Manic Compressor. El Clapo is something i need from time to time, while Manic Compressor has a great and quick workflow for parallel compression, which i use surprisingly often these days.

Ooo, ooo, if someone has one to give away, I'd surely take it!Tomgu wrote: Sat Nov 28, 2020 10:02 pm Tip: If you have a paid Mix with the Masters membership or a paid (but cheap) Control Room FB group membership, they both currently have a -30% discount voucher available for Liquidsonics.
A well-behaved signature.

Bought slightly more than I planned to:
- filtershaper core
- Cassette
- Modnetic
- KClip3
- SIR3 + StandardClip
and Acoustica Standard.
Tempted by some compressors (KH-Comp1, Fuse vari-mus) but I need to spend more time with Molot GE, that thing can do a lot and do it well.
Tempted to pick up DDMF metaplugin for oversampling things.
Also considering Amped Roots for some 5150 goodness but I'm quite happy with the Thermionik ones and I can't find any endorsement/discussion of Amped Roots by a Thermionik user so not clear if it will actually be very different.
No instruments or samples, still umm-ing and ah-ing there.

If you like the Melda way, it is a good selection. On the other hand, if you just use 2 or 3 of them, it might be overkill. Depends on your needs.ScrLk wrote: Sun Nov 29, 2020 12:18 pm Is getting MMixingFXBundle worth it or should I only pick the Melda plugins that I desperately need?

Which ones do you desparately need? If you like the Melda approach there is good stuff in there. I like MMultiAnalyzer a lot. But I'm not sure it's better value than the TDR or Black Rooster bundle at the moment unless you are lacking modulation/delay/verb as well.ScrLk wrote: Sun Nov 29, 2020 12:18 pm Is getting MMixingFXBundle worth it or should I only pick the Melda plugins that I desperately need?

The UIs are not my first choice. The processing seems solid and modern though, and they have some tools that are pretty unique.ralfrobert wrote: Sun Nov 29, 2020 12:28 pmIf you like the Melda way, it is a good selection. Hmmmmm....
Right, I won't get them to replace my bread and butter plugins.imrae wrote: Sun Nov 29, 2020 12:32 pm Which ones do you desparately need? If you like the Melda approach there is good stuff in there. I'm most interested in MBassador, MAutoVolume and MTransient(MB).

Get yourself one with the Control room membership - it’s 5.5 GBP per month, but there seems to some promo going on, because they charged only 2 GBP for the first month.JerGoertz wrote: Sun Nov 29, 2020 9:26 amOoo, ooo, if someone has one to give away, I'd surely take it!Tomgu wrote: Sat Nov 28, 2020 10:02 pm Tip: If you have a paid Mix with the Masters membership or a paid (but cheap) Control Room FB group membership, they both currently have a -30% discount voucher available for Liquidsonics.

TAL Software have a "secret" Black Friday deal. It's not announced in any of their channels, but when you add something to your cart and then go to the checkout page you'll see a Black Friday discount applied.
It's like 20%. Not much, but since their plugins are already cheap, it's worth it! I've got the Juno emulation, which is REALLY good.

Half a year ago I went all-in and use Melda wherever possible. Never regretted it. If you are unsure, you can get some new toys and wait for the next sale. MFreeFxBundle is a no-brainer and can already do a lot.ScrLk wrote: Sun Nov 29, 2020 12:32 pmThe UIs are not my first choice. So you would tell me to see if they mesh with me first.ralfrobert wrote: Sun Nov 29, 2020 12:38 pmHalf a year ago I went all-in and use Melda wherever possible. Never regretted it. I guess the problem is that I feel overwhelmed by the amount of plugins and options.
Do the MultiBand versions of the plugins also function as the single band ones? Like if I only get MTransientMB, is that a downside?
Then, if new plugins are added to the bundle, do I get those as well?
For me Melda has various bits and pieces that I'm currently missing.

Fair enough, the bundle pricing is just more attractive.
