Are there any must haves in the PSP $20 sale? The only PSP plugin I have is E27 and I got that for its air band instead of getting the PA Maag EQ.

VST Buzz has Sample Fuel’s “Pad Motion 3.0” on sale for 39 pounds (about $53 right now). It is a library for Halion Sonic SE. I own a license for Halion 6 already.

Does anyone own this library? Other than the fact it is a scripted library for Halion Sonic 3 SE (free version of Halion Sonic 3), the library appears to function essentially as a stand-alone multi-layer synth running inside Halion Sonic with an insane quantity of presets and features. It is mostly a granular and wavetable library, and I know already that Steinberg’s granular engine is great. What I want to know is what is the quality of the library and what us your experience working with it?

Sanple Fuel is a sound designer en par with Luftrum. One of the absolute best imho. His libraries are outstanding, both in sound quality as well as functionality. He chose to publish everything in the Steinberg ecosystem. They run in the free Halion SE or, of course, in Halion 6. They do not run standalone. Be aware that these libraries are protected through the eLicenser system. You do not need a physical dongle but some people may find it off putting nonetheless. Sample Fuel has a few free libraries on his website. Just check them out, they provide a very good insight into quality and functionality of the full libraries.

Thank you for the answers! The Luftrum comparison is a strong recommendation indeed. What I was trying to express, probably badly, was that even though this is a scripted instrument inside Halion Sonic 3 LE, it appears to have a functionality like a stand-alone product simply because there are so many options. Halion 6 includes many scripted instrument options inside, but I don’t think any of them are this advanced.

I will try some of the freebies.

I forgot to mention but that’s the crossgrade from Any izotope product version.
You can get a base license for about $5 on here or eBay or even for free sometimes.

Kinda itching to upgrade to Izotope MPS4, solely for the new RX functionality which I really like. Anybody know if I get fresh Nimbus / R4 licenses? I sold off the ones I got on inital purchase (MPS3) but this time I'd actually keep them.

I'm guessing the answer is no, but can't hurt to ask.
