Also, don't Soundiron have flatulence plugin?

It'll be interesting to hear how this sounds and what the price point will be. Klanghelm is pretty good with the vintage stuff

I vaguely remember that Tony Frenzel recently told in an interview with a German Audio magazine that this will take more time and he hopes to release it until the end of this year.

A typical Klanghelm plugin takes a good couple of years to develop, so if it was in the works last October, having it ready by the end of this year would seem to be about the right timescale. Patience required.

It's now well over a year since the announcement and well past the estimated easter 2020 release date. I don't remember the original DC8C taking this long.
In other news Sonimus announced their new EQ due in January. It's a combination of their freeware EQ and their commercial EQ in one plugin.

I was just recently wondering what's going on at Klanghelm... not much, as it seems. Last news on the website is from half a year ago. I'd still be interested in a Klanghelm equalizer (well, depending on what it has to offer, of course), but seriously, how long can it take? And even though Tony was once at the forefront of DSP indie developers offering excellent value for money, the world is moving on and the market is quite saturated with great cheap plugins...
I still haven't found my perfect channel EQ though, so I do hope everything's OK at Tony's and that his EQ will appear this year!

The future of EQ's is hybrid M/S with delay and possibly decay for vocals. With such transient sustain; reverbs and slap could be used tastefully.

Once I figure sustained side with haas and re-route to summed split stereo ensuring linear phase and I can do it with only one delay, then it'll be perfect. Here's what I have so far:Unaspected wrote: Sat Jan 02, 2021 10:49 pmThis. 100% this.bmanic wrote: Sat Jan 02, 2021 9:34 pm I still think he is an AI. Somebody is having a lot of fun with it.
If this method were to be employed with an eq, It'd be the end of slap and reverb for vocals and the beginning of something different. Of course, it might be someone inspired My method of course arguably - or who had the similar notion.
I have to admit though, that slate air effect is pretty interesting with what it can do with the voice. And of course with the two ideas combined, bad.
