Does anyone know if Virtual CZ from PB has scalable GUI? If not, would it be OKish on a 2K (1440p) screen?
I am unable to demo it right now hence asking here.

Following your post, an hour ago I just bought Organetta (with the free Carbon Electra). Now an hour later I still play with Organetta and I haven't even opened up Carbon Electra to try. Organetta is super cool, thanks a lot for your suggestionWatchTheGuitar wrote: Tue Jan 12, 2021 3:47 pm Anyone after the “free with a purchase” Carbon Electra at Plugin Boutique who has Kontakt check out the Organetta from AudioThing, a sampled Portable Reed Organ and only £3.95

Goot to hear. I’ve been impressed by the quality of the stuff I got from them. As well as Organetta also got Things and SR88 drum machine for free and bought the Wires and Valves effects and it’s niche stuff, but nicely put together.ozonepaul wrote: Wed Jan 13, 2021 8:43 amFollowing your post, an hour ago I just bought Organetta (with the free Carbon Electra). LOL same as. Purchased Organetta and got Carbon Electra and I think it was a good solid hour before I installed and played around with Electra.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Wed Jan 13, 2021 8:56 amGoot to hear. Organetta is awesome. Great library for so little.

Unfortunately it doesn't have scalable GUI, yet is not that bad on a 2K display. Oli said he's working on V1.2, so maybe he adds it. Hopefully.LoveEnigma18 wrote: Wed Jan 13, 2021 8:09 am Does anyone know if Virtual CZ from PB has scalable GUI? If not, would it be OKish on a 2K (1440p) screen?

I think it's a very nice synth and the sale price is very good. Grab it!

Cool! I'm interested. I was just reading about CanOpener and its crossfeed simulation.Uncle E wrote: Sun Jan 10, 2021 11:49 pm Sonarworks and Waves NX function well together. I can't say the end result is mind blowing but I don't have setup issues.
If anyone is interested, I can upload a studio impulse I made that helps me mix. It balances the highs and lows, and also has a lot of build-up in the midrange (sort of like NS-10's) so that I spend more time clearing out and un-clouding those frequencies. The cool thing is I can use the Cross-Feed control in my impulse player to make headphones feel more like speakers.

Shame it is full Kontakt only. Why do some companies do that? Surely Kontakt Player makes more sense and would be more lucrative for themMikelo wrote: Wed Jan 13, 2021 2:40 pmLOL same as. Not if you have to pay license fees on a 5 dollar product.

Okay, thank you for the information. That's fine on the GUI part then.e@rs wrote: Wed Jan 13, 2021 2:58 pmUnfortunately it doesn't have scalable GUI, yet is not that bad on a 2K display. VirtualCZ does sound really good and the price is a no-brainer right now. The only question now is do I need it when I have the Arturia CZ V?
I need to decide between VirtualCZ and Organetta now. Yes, both are cheap, but I want to show some resistance.
Thanks to @WatchTheGuitar for mentioning Organetta, it sounds really great.

19-49 $/€
100 9.0%
200-400 8.0%
500-900 7.0%
1000-1400 6.0%
>1500 5.0%"

(they don't list anything lower than $19, but I guess they'd charge the same x% for products under $19, instead of treating x% of $19 as the minimum fee?)
They'd sell more if they included Sforzando and/or Halion versions though....

The other thing to note is that when people build libraries for the Player they then need to install them via NI Native Access which will take care of monitoring for updates when new versions get released so I guess that's part of NI value add, but it seems dubious it's worth thousands of pounds.
Another obvious thing is that for developers distributing those library files themselves they're just files which don't need an installer so obviously eminently cloneable.
