ANA 2 or Serum

Vital is really cool. The editor in vital really isnt good imo though. Maybe I am missing something with the WT editor in Vital? The functional editor in serum is so clutch for me. I cant seem to understand how to properly edit WT's in Vital, I gotta watch some videos on youtube, I just havnt invested the time yet. What I like in Vital, is the import sample to pitch WT sounds pretty decent, and is enhanced with the Chorus effect. Obviously MPE in Vital is pretty serious as well.

Serum just added WT to LFO, and if you do complicated bass sound design like Noisia stuff, using that LFO on filters and FM from B can really sound sick.

I cant even knock Ana 2, Im sure its really good, I just been using Serum since the first day it came out, and know it inside and out. I follow the Xfer discord, and Steve isnt one to say he is going to do something, and not do it. Serum 2 is gunna be pretty awesome

Ana2 and Serum are very different type of synths. With Serum you can create your own wavetables and Serum has this very good visual aspect and drag + drop system. Also Serum has huge amount of tutorials all around YouTube. It is easy to overlook Serum since it seems to have less to offer than Ana2 when you just look how many oscilators Ana2 has compared to Serum etc. But when you watch these YouTube tutorials, you can hear what a huge arrange of sound you can do with Serum. Sure Serum is more expensive, but if you click with Serum then it's the worth the money. Or if you find Ana2 good for you, go for Ana2

Vital naturally is very interesting new player. It has a huge potential. But also some minuses compared to Serum - and Serum has some minuses compared to Vital... They do sound similar, and look similar. But still not same.

For me Ana2 seats perfectly between Diva and Serum.
Ana2 is a very powerful synth and the price was right when I got it.

You can be very happy with both.
And I’m guessing here: perhaps Ana3 will add a granular feature?
