Is there a bank or other ways i can expand the number of samples in Drumenhancer? Or, have anyone created their own samples that i can get for a small or big sum of dollaries?

A quick search for "MDrumEnhancer" will turn up a few threads. Here's one.

PS. I only got this plugin last summer and it is one of those Melda plugins that gets used/tried on every mix.

I just skimmed through this thread, and I still have no idea if it's possible. If you know, a simple "yes" or "no" would have been much more helpful than the fact that you try it on every mix.

Edit: I guess I skimmed too much. The answer is that you can use any drum sample on your computer and it gets analyzed by MDrumenhancer.

Right. "Yes". But it's a little more involved so I thought I'd re-post the thread where the same question was asked and answered and that had some other useful info as well.

Also, searching for a plugin name can turn up a lot of very useful information... :)

True. I'm also not happy when the same questions get asked over and over again when a search could give the answer. But it's also no fun to read through lengthy threads for a simple question.

So I think it's nicer to give a short answer to the question and then refer them to the search function for further details.

I bought a pack of snare samples from https://modernsamples.com/analog-snares/ and converted them into .flac (not sure if that´s necessary) and then they were easy to opt for just by locating the folder. Thanks for all inputs :)

Does anyone have samples or presets to sell for MDrumenhancer? I´m looking for big kicks and even bigger snares.

When you said BIG I immediately thought of this site...

https://drumforge.com/collections/drumshotz

...because, even though it's geared more for metal, Billy Decker has a couple of sample packs in there. He mixes Country/Rock which has BIG drum sounds. His samples from this site were highly recommended in a mix forum I belong to. They're on sale right now for $19. Use code SUBSCRIBER at checkout to get them for about $10. There' also a BD "booster pack". (FWIW Andrew Wade's and Taylor Larson's were also mentioned as good packs)

I'm still trying to work out the mix, but the Drumshotz definitely work in MDrumReplacer.

There are many other sites as well. Here's a FREE/donationware site that looks like it has very interesting samples.

Anyway, you can do a lot with the samples already in MDR too - especially with the included Dynamic EQ and the "Sustain" knob. I'm constantly surprised at how little of the sample on Wet/Dry mix is needed to really boost the drum sound.

Thanks for tipping me off to drumforge :tu: I agree that there are good enough default samples and tweaking possibilities.
