I'm thankful for this conversation here. I've had Lion for awhile and never use it...just demo'ed Thorn , which I forgot about and it fills a void I have in my sound making arsenal. Going in nowralfrobert wrote: Thu Apr 01, 2021 4:42 pmThey are very different. Thorn is a great, very special synth with a digital soul. Lion is more of a sound designer's playground and can -- due to its modularity -- give you extraordinary results.gerk wrote: Thu Apr 01, 2021 4:36 pm Both Thorn and LION are $20 after PA Sale and Coupon, any opinions on which one to get?
Personally, I prefer Thorn. I have the impression Lion is never updated, well, half-abandoned, and has some rough edges from the software engineering point of view.

That makes sense, I did buy a few bits last summer.SolarAxix wrote: Thu Apr 01, 2021 2:57 pm It's based on the last 12 months. Every month, it gets recalculated. When you purchased that $10 plugin, it must have brought you above the $50 spend over the last 12 months to get a $25 voucher. Then in February, you back below the $50 mark.
Thanks.

The monthly $25/$50/$75 PA Vouchers don't work during the sale (they are always set to expire before the sales start).

Is the price for bass mint from pa of 30 bucks the lowest? Or better further wait?
Thx for the info.chrisstiles wrote: Thu Apr 01, 2021 8:38 pmThe monthly $25/$50/$75 PA Vouchers don't work during the sale (they are always set to expire before the sales start).

Ngl, this ML Sound Lab sale is a good way to get ML5 if you don't have it already.

I bought one of these but can't for the life of me see how to get the presets - all I can download from the Bandlab site is the audio demo but I'm sure that isn't the case and I'm missing something obvious.alvfaria wrote: Wed Mar 31, 2021 10:40 pm 75% OFF at The FXB Project![]()

Posting fairly regularly to a thread takes less resources, than developing, coding and launching an update, I guess. Unfortunately the end-results of these two differes quite a lot, from the client's point of view.WatchTheGuitar wrote: Thu Apr 01, 2021 5:02 pmThere’s a fairly big Lion thread on hereralfrobert wrote: Thu Apr 01, 2021 4:42 pm I have the impression Lion is never updated, well, half-abandoned, and has some rough edges from the software engineering point of view.

Well they claimed to be just about to republish all the UA plugins with full Apple silicon/M1 support so guess they’re not just posting on forums.Harry_HH wrote: Fri Apr 02, 2021 11:02 amPosting fairly regularly to a thread takes less resources, than developing, coding and launching an update, I guess. Ok figured it out for anyone else struggling with this and since there are no instructions with the purchase. Basically you have to download the audio demo (select the one with the smallest footprint - ie ogg) and the audio files unpacked come with a text file which contains within it a Google drive link to the presets - bit convolutedaMUSEd wrote: Fri Apr 02, 2021 8:47 amI bought one of these but can't for the life of me see how to get the presets - all I can download from the Bandlab site is the audio demo but I'm sure that isn't the case and I'm missing something obvious.alvfaria wrote: Wed Mar 31, 2021 10:40 pm 75% OFF at The FXB Project![]()

Yes, but that's part of this (innovative and efficient) sales channel.aMUSEd wrote: Fri Apr 02, 2021 11:45 amOk figured it out for anyone else struggling with this and since there are no instructions with the purchase. The current GForce sale includes M-Tron Complete but even under normal circumstances there is no upgrade path from M-Tron Pro. I contacted support and they gave me the steps to take and a code to enter to get all the sound banks for what came out to be £162. Worth contacting them if you have M-Tron Pro and want to add all the expansions.

The email I got does not say when the sale ends. Neither does their website as far as I can tell.bharris22 wrote: Fri Apr 02, 2021 6:54 pm Does anyone know when the current Tracktion 40% off sale ends? I am thinking of picking up Hyperion.
