Yeah, it indeed was.
nIGhT-SoN wrote: Sat May 22, 2021 6:19 pm Well, there is a really good offer right now on iZotope's website - Phoenix Verb, R2, Excalibur, Ozone Elements, RX Elements, Nectar Elements, Neutron Elements, Stutter Edit 2, Trash 2, BreakTweaker Expanded, Iris 2, all for just $49 - https://www.izotope.com/en/shop/deals.html

I think it's really worth buying if you don't have R2, Phonex Verb, Excalibur, not to say Trash 2 is amazing, Ozone and Neutron too.
This iZotope bundle is excellent if you don't have anything iZotope. Perfect for someone creating a new account with iZotope.

I also have most of the included stuff and probably don't need the rest. I haven't even used what I already have. But it is amazing value for sure. Great quality plugins.

I overlooked that it is Stutter Edit 2 that's included in the bundle. Quite surprised since it is still relatively new.

The free MConvolutionMZ loaded with a custom high-quality IR sample sound, such as from Nevo Studios, sounds great to my ears.

just happy i sold it before they dumped the price even further into the ground. :?

I can imagine they came up with this great bundle because of the lash-back from the subscription announcement, but i'm not sure how this fixes it.
Pretty sure they're just trying to grab some money before they go sub

The new HOFA Reverb v2. Has 4 IR slots and 2 algorithmic slots which all can be combined to create a reverb fitting everything. Also has a big library of IRs and presets.

Äx-penn-siff!

But their Algoverb ist indeed quite nice and versatile and if you were really inclined to do so, you could combine als many of it as you ever wanted in any kind of way (parallel, serial, RS, MS, multi-band, and what not) in their free System Basic and it's only 50€. You gain a lot of flexibility for a fifth of the price of the Reverb V2 and all you lose is the convolution - and convolution is poo anyway, especially for reverb.

Their delay is really really good. I love it more than Echoboy. Beside doing the usual delay stuff, you can use it as a strange effect using pitchshift/ghost mode and do some creative, out of this world sounds. Also, the diffuse control just gives it another dimension, if you turn it all the way up it will sound as a reverb. My favorite mode is BBD Duck. You should try the demo if you haven't.
f**k, another one for my buy list :?

It's really worth the $50, it's my favorite. When I need delay, that's what I use.

VSS4 has kind of taken over everything, even though it's pretty CPU greedy. I can barely run 3 instances at 88.2/96.

It does 'clean space' wonderfully, but what I've loved is applying every type of modulation I can think of before or after and have come up with some interesting things! Making me wonder if I actually need much else.

Goodhertz megaverb is wonderful too of course.

you know, I just made a really important/amazing discovery regarding Sonsig.

Mousewheel does NOT*** incur the UI freezing issue! Which is apparently something that is "incurred" upon using the mouse buttons. This is definitely something to email the devs about, but this totally opens up use of Sonsig for me when my CPU is frying (every time I am working on a project). If you like the sound and workflow of Sonsig, you can still use it pretty much fully-functionally this way. Sonsig just saved my drum bus and my time

I appreciate you getting back, but I have moved on from Sonsig. To be honest, it did not blow me away anyway. It was good, but I like the sound of the reverbs that I have and for now I am not getting any other reverb (not even Pro-R). You can't convince me to get both Sonsig and Phase Plant at the same time! ;) :hihi:

Shoot, lost my commission 8)
That's a mature stance on reverbs, good on you for keeping your focus.

At least something resisted, otherwise doors are generally open for anything and everything. :hihi: :borg:
